That's true, but on the other hand, we had 3-4 months to complete one single mini. I consider myself quite busy with my work and other hobbies, but i managed to get my Chaos Dwarf team painted for the Blood bowl, do the TBB Gobbo (it took about 10h to do this one) and convert and assemble 8 Ogres. So i think we need to come to an end with this one and start another TBB team in some months.Deathwing wrote:But I'm not concerned about deadlines, some people have obviously spent more time painting than others, real life has a habit of interfering etc, some have had tourney teams to get done within the time frame whereas others haven't, and a myriad of other possibilities that could cause delay.
And maybe we should add the painting quality to this one. How about the following:Deathwing wrote:So I'd like to see entries allocated based on what people have contributed rather than when they contributed. There's just too many variables that you can't legislate for in the latter.
- for every basic mini gets 2 entries
- regular starplayers get 3
- Big Guys (or BG starplayers) get 4
Collect all the minis, then put the pictures up to TBB for judgement:
- sloppy painting gets -1 entry per mini
- very good painting gets +1 per mini
- excellent painting or heavy conversion gets +2 per mini (this should be reserved for the outstanding pieces, like Anthony's flying Gobbo)
Vote for the best 3 minis and give each of them another +1 entry.
This results in a quite large amount of entries into the drawing pot, but gives ppl a reward for giving their best ...
To let everybody have a chance to participate, I'd put up a team list of 16-20 players + additional coaching staff. Then i'd give everybody two weeks to apply for a slot in this list, afterwards open the list for multiple entries.
What you think?[/i]
