Solihell uses all rules allowed by the NAF, including CRP. The “Illegal Procedure” rule will not be used.

Turns will not be timed unless the Tournament Organiser requests that they be timed to keep to schedule or both coaches agree to timed turns at any point prior to or during the game.

The tournament is a resurrection tournament, meaning that rosters will be reset after each round and no gold is won or SPP’s awarded.

What You Will Get:
  • • An exclusive Chaos coaster.
    • 3 Blood Bowl games.
    • The chance to win one of eight trophies.
    • Complementary lunch.
What You Need
  • • A copy of your team roster (to show your opponent).
    • Models to represent your players. Each player must be numbered and painted with at least three colours.
    • Dice, templates, a pitch and dugouts.
Roster Creation

Each coach has 1,100,000 gold pieces to buy players, coaching staff, team re-rolls and inducements for their team.
Coaches do not purchase skills using their available gold.
Skills are given to teams based on their tiers:

Tier 1

5 Normal skills.

Amazons, Bretonnians, Chaos Dwarves, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Necromantic, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elves

Tier 2:

5 Normal skills, 1 Double skill

Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elves, High Elves, Humans, Khemri, Khorne, Nurgle, Vampires, Slann, Underworld

Tier 3:

5 Normal skills, 2 Double skill.

Goblins, Halflings, Ogres

The following restrictions apply to skill allocation:
  • • No player may be given more than one skill.
    • No more than 3 players can have the same skill.
    • Stat increases cannot be taken.
    • You must have at least 11 players on your roster. Star Players purchased during team creation do not count towards your minimum 11 players required for a team.
    • Star players may not be given skills.Teams may be selected from any of the available 24 races in the rulebook.
    • Inducements may be purchased during team creation, including 0-2 Star Players, but this excludes Wizards, Special Play Cards, and Unlimited Mercenaries. Inducements bought in this way are considered a permanent part of the team and can be used each game. Opposing teams may have the same Star Player.
The following are eligible to win the Stunty Cup: Halflings, Ogres, Goblins.

Special Tournament Rules

Each coach receives a coaster that has a dark side and a light side. The dark side of the coaster is used during the first half of the game.

If, during the first half, a player on either team is removed as a casualty for any reason, at half-time turn the coaster over so that the brightly lit side is showing. For the duration of the second half, the weather condition in effect will be Sweltering Heat, as the temperature rises and the conditions become more hellish. These effects replace normal weather conditions for the duration of the second half, and if a Changing Weather result is rolled on the Kick-off table at any time during the second half, the ball will simply scatter one extra square in a random direction before landing and bouncing.

If, however, no blood has been spilled on the pitch at all during the first half in the form of Casualties being caused for any reason, the Chaos gods are displeased, as are the fans. Before rolling on the Kick-off table, roll a D6. If the result is a 1, do not roll on the Kick-off table. Instead, roll another D6. On a 1, resolve a Get the Ref result; on a 2-3, resolve a Riot result; on a 4-5, resolve a Throw a Rock result; on a 6, resolve a Pitch Invasion result.

Pairing and Scoring

Opponents will be selected randomly for Round 1. Rounds 2 & 3 will be selected using the Swiss pairing system (most points vs. most point, lowest points vs. lowest points, etc.). Coaches are awarded points based on the following:
  • +20 points for each win
    +10 points for each draw
    0 points for each loss
+ 1 point per TD (Max. 3 points)
+ 1 point per CAS (Max. 3 points) (Blocks and Fouls)
Tickets

Tickets cost £15/£20 for NAF/non-NAF members.

NAF membership is included in the ticket price. Lunch will be provided.

Payment can be sent via PayPal to: joeruston@live.co.uk.

Please send payments as Friends and Family.

Please include your full name, NAF name and NAF number in the note on the payment.

Just as an FYI: Solihell has been submitted for NAF approval, so some rules may be subject to change!

Another tourney that could be part of the West Midlands Championship series? Speaking of which, do you know if anyone has managed to contact GutRot81 to ask him to update the series scores?

Payment dispatched. Looking forward to this. Might even try to record a one off Trollcast on the day if people fancy it?

Raveen, I'm sorry to tell you this mate, but the event has been cancelled. It's been announced on social media, but I neglected to announce it here. I sincerely apologise and I'll get Joe, the TO, to refund your ticket asap.

I agree! Sadly we didn't have anyone buying tickets. We needed 15 selling to break even, but we only sold two (including yours). We might try again in the near future.
