Actually I'm pretty sure that when you devote your own time to organising an event, you have every right to assert what is and is not acceptable at that event. And the very few people in this thread that have indicated they would not welcome miniatures like this at their events were, well, talking about that in the context of their events.JT-Y wrote:My argument, just for the hard of thinking, isn't based on any sample size. Rather it's based on the assertion that you don't get police what is or is not acceptable for all based only on what you are comfortable with for yourself.
If you disagree with their rules for their event, you would be absolutely free to boycott it just as they are free to tell you that you aren't welcome if you bring something they feel is not appropriate. Or would you think they were just too "hard of thinking" to understand why you should be allowed to enjoy the fruits of their labour while ignoring the code of conduct they hold their players to?
And again you kick off your post with a totally unnecessary insult, like anyone who doesn't agree with you must just not understand what you're saying because they are so stupid. It's deeply disappointing to see behaviour like that here and completely undercuts any point you might be trying to make.
