SNOTLINGS
I know snotlings are one of the stupidest teams to ever come into blood bowl. I also know warhammer fluff says snotlings don't have a working brain. But, I still would like to know if anyone thinks this team would be unbalanced.
0-16 Snotlings 4135 Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Thick Skull, Regenerate, Two Heads, Extra Arms 50K Agility
0-4 Trolls 4519... you know what a troll looks like
Rerolls: 60K
Seeing as there is an new goblin team...erm, I mean Ogre I was looking to get the goblin feel back in the game. I stole this idea from FUMBBL and modified it slightly. Thick Skull, Regenerate, Two Heads, and Extra Arms are on the Snotling because I plan on putting multiply snotlings on each base. I didn't want to add a bunch of new rules like titchy, extra players so I went this route. Well what do you think?

HUH!!!!!???? What did I miss here. That roster is 100% better than the MBBL2 one that we use and you didn't like that one Zombie .... paint me confused. Thanks Quilwood, but I'll still with the MBBL2 roster ... that one is just too good.Zombie wrote:If i were to include snotlings into the game (which i'd rather not), i might go for your roster.

Just for the record on this one, the MA 4 was the only real downgrade as my team already have AV 5 ... (Zombie was in error).Zombie wrote:How are they 100% better? They have MA4 (one less than yours), AV5 (one less than yours), no titchy (this is the biggest factor by far), and no extra players.
Edit: oops, i forgot what 2 heads does. Stunty + two heads is even better than titchy. You're right, they're still too good.
And the downside of Titchy is equal to Stunty + Two Heads but I then include +2 to the injury roll (instead of +1); +2 to the band width to pass (instead of 2); and they don't have a TZ when you dodge into them. Compare this to Regenerate and Thick Skull and I think you'll see why I'm so confused.
So what if a 16 player roster gets D6/2 rounded down extra players a drive .... I've never seen the team able to use this in league play for more than the first drive anyway.
I'd still go to bat that the Snotling roster the MBBL2 uses is okay. Just me. They do suck ass already as Snotling suggested they should.

If everyone really believes that a couple extra Snotlings for the first drive make this a winning team (which is doesn't) ... I'd be more than willing to see the extra player thing removed .... oh well ... moving on.
JJ and Andy don't appear to like Snotlings anymore anyway, so it probably all a moot issue.

Oh, it's not a question of winning team or not; I just don't like new rules for roster composition (e.g. more or less then 16 players) and number of players on the pitch. To me those are two absolutes which should never be broken.GalakStarscraper wrote:If everyone really believes that a couple extra Snotlings for the first drive make this a winning team (which is doesn't) ... On a personal level I think that's snotlings are totally uninteresting, especially compared to goblins. And in 2nd ed. snotling figs were always the ones left on the shelves, along with that chaos mutants blister.

Blood Bowl game - $60
Cost of a Human Team - $40
The look on your opponents face as his one-turn scorer gets taken down by a thrown rock from the fans – Priceless.

How about that ?
0-16 Snotlings 4136 Dodge Stunty right stuff Agility-Skills 20k
0-2 Trolls (normal LRB-Rules)
ReRoll 60k
with AV6 they are more resistent. perhaps they could complete a game on the field ?

I always thought the Snotling minis rocked, especially compared to the Goblins from 2e... Wish I'd been playing back then (You know...when I was around 8.
) so I could have gotten my hands on them, brand-new.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.
