Well, the shoulder pads were annoying to do. I think I've got to the stage where I can do simple things, but, as with the chest plates, I struggle with duplication. Getting the pads to match was really annoying, requiring several layers of greenstuff and lots of filing, cutting and scraping.nazgob wrote:a) two large shoulder pads

The helmet I did when the pads were finished (see earlier comments about layering)

A bit f patience was required for this, but it seemed to pay off.
The foot hair was the most fun.

A thin layer of greenstuff and then stab it repeatedly with pointed objects. I mean this literally, although I did it with more care than the previous sentence suggests.
I did alter my plan slightly though. THe first thing you may notice is the lack of additional spikes on Puggy's helmet (supposed to go on the discs). They just didn't seem to work, so I chose not to do them. It would be easy to add this on after I paint him if I feel its necessary. The other addition you may notice is under his pointing arm - I added a sleeve to match the other arm. I think it helps to balance the mini.
Overall, I think he's not a bad approximation of the official model - short and squat, but quite solid.
Wouldn't even know where to start.cirrus the blue wrote:So far, it's cast-worthy!

Painting to follow - the deadline is Friday(!)MyKi#1 wrote:Looking forward to seeing him painted.
