Well it depends...
Do you want to laugh at yourself and your team? Do you want a strong LoS? Do you want a big guy who will almost never be hurt?
Then you want a troll.
Do you want an active big guy who can be used as a running back and a goal tender? Do you want a big guy who may get gurt alot but will blitz at ST 6 with frenzy?
Then you want a minotaur.

Not to begin with, for sure, but with time going, a front line BC - Troll or Minotaur - BC is a bit attractive to meChaos dwarves doesn't need a big guy

"Slavery" option for CD ? Why not ? Sounds good to me !
But why not mutation for CD and BC on double 1 or double 2 experience roll dice ?
After all, BC are mutated CD, no ?

I really don't agree with you Zombie ! I added a mino to my team four games ago, and he's doing great ! Of course, he can cause a few turnover, but one must use him wisely : always in the back field, occasionnaly blitzing a lonely opponent. With Horns and Mighty Blow, he'll get some Casualties and learn Block soon enough that he will then be a valuable part of the team.
As for Troll, I don't see them fitting around dwarves and Hobooes. I'd rather see the Ogre than the Troll available for them. But hey ! Nothing is perfect !
So bottom line : go with a Mino !

Well i for one agree with Zombie ( Although i dont think you'll neccesarily lose with a minotaur ). The Wild animal skill even with Block is too unpredictable to be able to formulate a trusted game plan. Always Stupid is in reality no different to Bonehead as he'll always have a few CD's to support him and you dont neccesaril;y have to use him to Block either just to soak up any punishment from the opposition line of sight.
i dont give much credence to flavour anymore since the introduction of khemri, Butchering of the Undead and Changing of the Warhammer world for Norse and Chaos Dwarf, so i',m all in favour of a Troll, and the regenerate skill is also another bonus factor.

TROLL
I have played my last match vs CD.
They had take a Troll and for my Ogre was hard stay on his feet.
My team - Great team of dwarves - was more powerfull, but until i finally put out his troll the game was no easy!
And remember:
Troll + Bulls= troubulls!!!
Mino+Bulls= Nothing of good!
(Es: If your Mino is near my Ogre, at the end of my turn i can simply put my Ogre near your Mino with a Guard or Two and at the beginning of your turn will be some troubles for you)
SO: Go for the Troll!

Trolls aren't even bad fluff-wise if you remember that they're slaves just like the hobgoblins. Remember, in LotR, the troll was a slave as well. They're often chained in D&D too. The only teams where i find that they fit better than chaos dwarves are orcs and goblins, and even then, barely so.
