Chaos Pact Progression
Ok, Chaos Pact wasn't in the sticky yet, so here we go:
This is my team:
1 Rookie Ogre
6 Chaos Marauders, 1 with Kick, 1 with tackle, 1 with SureHands
2 Beast men, 1 rolled double 5
1 GutterRunner THE MAN, surefeet, sprint, skill
1 Chaos Warrior
1 BlackOrc (probably changing him for an Orc thrower)
1 Goblin with Pro (throwing material)
(Norse Blitzer on the way)
So...
what to give to a beastman with double 5?
guard? foul appearance? Movement? Claw? RSClaw? Leader? Frenzy? Dauntless?
And for the GutterRunner...he goes anywhere to pick up the ball and score or give a scoring pass....
he could use surehands for that...but block gives him some more safety...leap would get him in even more places.
and another thing:
We are thinking about a transfersystem in our league, if we go that way:
I am thinking about selling the BlackOrc so that i can buy an OrcThrower and a Norse Blitzer
would that package (Norse Blitzer, Orc Thrower) be better then: Black Orc + Norse Thrower (i think i DO need a thrower for more versatilty in my team)
Thx,
W

Re: Chaos Pact Progression
Go with RSC, and take Piling On as your next regular skill. He can be a real factor in bodycount.Cooper wrote:what to give to a beastman with double 5?

Sounds cool...but can i take strengthskills on him when not throwing doubles?
And for the others:
3rd skill for gutterrunner, who needs to score and steal loose balls..
he has got sprint and surefeet...
go for Leap? SureHands? or simply block for more safety?
and which is better? Orc Thrower+NorseBlitzer OR BlackOrc+NorseThrower

Definitely block first, he needs it for protection. The other teams already target him, don't they? So, after block I'd choose sidestep, to further increase his chance of survival. On doubles it's probably VLL.
I'M not sure about that thrower issue. Just don't have the experience, but I would take the norse thrower. That one additional MA can really help against kick. But then I'd also prefer the Norse blitzer over that BOB. Better ask the others.

I agree with you very much that the BlackOrc is less good/usefull then the Norse Blitzer...Fronko wrote: I'M not sure about that thrower issue. And the thrower-thing is exactly what i am not sure about...
I mean, the first skill i would give to a NorseThrower is surehands...
this means that the orc thrower will get a little better in throwing (as his first skill will be accurate) early on...he is slower though...
so i am not entirely sure...

I think that was about the Gutter Runner... He can use Block well now.

ok, same team, still going strong...
1 Ogre with Block
6 Chaos Marauders, 1 with Kick, 2 with tackle, 1 with SureHands, DP+tackle
2 Beast men, RSC
1 GutterRunner, surefeet, sprint, block
1 Chaos Warrior, block double 5
Orc Thrower, rookie
1 Goblin with Pro (throwing material)
(Norse Blitzer, piling on
Minotaur, rookie
My ChaosWarrior with block needed guard, but rolled a double 5, i am not really considering the movement...but what to do?
I thought frenzy...but allready have a minotaur and a norse blitzer...
RSC with Piling On might work again, but that becomes 3 piling on players, that is a bit much...(one of teh beastman does that/going to dthat)
that means not many people to keep the cage.
Leader is good to get a grip on the Minotaur, (he almost lost me the game a few times)
Claw..just let them get out of the way...
Other teams in top of the league are hitting teams (undead, Orcs)
Thx,
W
