Should we stick with the current deadline or allow latecomers to contribute until we have a full team's worth of Gobbos?

Make May 1st a hard deadline and send the team out, even if it isn't a full team

They look great! :)
And I agree with Norse's comments on things like the bases and numbering conventionsbeing the same style.
Well done Milo for being Da Organiza.

Milo ? Hm ?! He changed his nickname to " The runner" and is off and away ...

Well, i´m also a bit courious, how this lottery drawing will work ?! Who will draw from how many lots ? And when ? Will we see the picts of Grumble's , Anthony's and Lightningbug's minis, too ? Before the drawing ? Did they arrived ?

Questions over questions ?!

I'm *still* waiting for Anthony's and LightningBug's minis. I'm going to give them until Wedneaday of this week to arrive. One way or the other, I'm drawing a name this weekend. If the minis don't arrive by then, they simply won't be a part of the lottery.

As for how I plan to conduct it, I'm going to put together a list of all the entries and number them. I'll zip up the list in a .zip archive (password-protected) and then email it to a couple of the entrants. I'm going to ask JohnnyP to pick a random number between 1 and whatever the number of entries are and ask him to post it here. Once he's posted it, I'll provide the password for the archive. That way:

1) I have no control over the choice beyond assembling the list.
2) There can't be any concern that I altered the list after knowing what the number is.
3) No one will see the list except me before the name is pulled, so there can't be any concern that Johnny's pick was influenced by any of the entrants (some of whom are moderators here.)

That's the fairest, safest way I can think of to do the lottery.

Milo

Great method, Milo! Kinda waterproof (well you could still send the list to JohnnyP in advance, but i trust you anyway :) ).

Please post the date and time of when you plan to publish the number. I want to be there realtime! Let's get the most users online record up once again! :)

Yes, I agree with Tim.
After having the number, please send a pic of the team with the new minis. To see what the lucky winner win.

I have to apologize for my mini not coming in, getting this thing sent has been quite a comedy of errors (I'll spare you the details...). Anyways, scratch me from the lottery but please let me know who wins and I will send it to them directly.

I'd think we should not scratch Anthony from the lottery, because he put much effort into building this one. Of course, only under the one condition that he takes a picture of the painted mini and posts it here asap :)

i read Anthony_TBBF´s post in this way, that his mini is " on the road". So hopefully he took a pict before sending the mini

BTW ...Tim, thanks for the advices. I posted a new thread for my orc team in "Tactics & Team Development" for even more help... i will need it

This does not sound as if the mini is enroute to Milo :)
