I made a Bretonnian conversion from a Marauders Blitzer and plastic Knights of the Realm Head and it looks spot on. For linemen and the like it would be a little different though. Maybe use Squire heads for Catchers? Gets that cheesy bowl-cut hairstyle. A lot of the bucket helmets on the men at arms would look wrong on Blood Bowl players I think though.

Why not do a themed chaos team from one of the 4 options?

Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle or Tzeentch

I didnt mean to start anything by saying i paint quick. i dunno how i do it, maybe paints dry faster in detroit? anyways, i think a brit. team sounds plenty cool, but if people have made some of these converted teams already, how abotu some pics? how about any pics anyone has to jsut see what people can do and give us brain food. besides, i enjoy a pic of a good mini anyday.

I think an official team would be the best. Brettonians aren't official and a number of people don't like them even house ruled (judging by comments made on other threads).

I would prefer an official or very close to that type of team. If we do chaos perhaps try and get people to split efforts into the 5 subgroups ( 4 gods + chaos undivided).

Official teams i've found:

Amazon
Brettonian
Chaos
Chaos Dwarf
Daemon-Khorne
Daemon-Nurgle
Daemon-Slaanesh
Daemon-Tzeentch
Dark Elf
Dwarf
Goblin
Halfling
High Elf
Human
Khemri
Lizardmen
Minotaur
Norse
Ogre
Orc
Skaven and Clan Skaven
Snotling
Treefolk
Undead
Vampire and Vampire Counts
Wood Elf

just in case ANYONE was wondering, i thought i'd post 'em. about the britts, i thought we had decided that would have human stats? then they're actually a kick ass converted human team, but who cares. or we could start a team from scratch, and give them existing official stats as so they are playable. i dunno, but i've always found the idea of a cave man or theif team kinda interesting. or even cultists from mordheim, or the nuns. we've got plenty of time to talk, guys. i say throw out there what ever ideas you might have, no matter how bad they are. and as far as doing 4 chaos teams, unless everyone who participates sends in 4 minis, doesnt look like we'd have enough people to make 4 teams.

As Pritch says I reckon we need to brainstorm team ideas and then chuck up a poll and see what people want. Off the top of my head these are the teams that have been suggested so far:

Lizardmen
Khemri
Undead
Norse
Chaos - themed
Skaven
Elf
Brettonian

What else can we throw in there? Or is that enough to go on?

i think it would be fun to at least consider fresh teams that come about through these little group brainstorming sessions. or am i alone on that.

I think the trouble with Elves etc is the need for a more 'coherent' look. Chaos, Skaven, Goblins, (Norse?) etc can get away with being 'scruffier', ie variations in paint colour/uniform details will add character to certain teams and just look a mess on others.
Here's another option: Back in the earlier days of this board, Ant suggested a TBB 'pub team'.
