Should we stick with the current deadline or allow latecomers to contribute until we have a full team's worth of Gobbos?

Anthony's and Grumble's minis are en-route. I'll be taking pics this weekend when I borrow a digital camera again.

Should have the drawing done by early next week. I plan to make it as transparent as possible.

OK..mods note.
Just scrubbed a few posts of the end of this thread..I ain't having any more rows and bad feeling starting amongst contributors to a 'fun project'.
Wes, we already know how you feel. And those who responded, sorry, couldn't lose the original without the replies. Take it off board if you must. Enough is enough. Get a grip.

are we still talking about TBB here? if we're gonna have a TBB2, should we just open a new thread so that the two teams dont get all confused?

I reckon that's a good idea Pritchard. One other thing I would like to know...when do we start? straight after this team or should we leave it for a while? Make it a christmas thing or something?

Even if some of you are very eager to do the next team, I would prefer to wait some more months before stating the next TBB Legacy Team. It should be something special imo and people will put more effort in it, if projects like this are a rare thing.

Maybe we can do it once a year with a deadline to have it ready for the big Blood Bowl Tournament. This would mean the the next team, aka 2004 TBB Legacy Team, would have a (dead hard) deadline of end of March 2004. So we could start something like October 2003 to give everyone a real chance to contribute (can't manaqe to paint a single mini in half a year -> do not participate).

I agree, Tim. Just a team once a year to keep it special. Or maybe not a team , a single mini for a special event, ... maybe for a whole group of barebreasted orcish cheerleaders ?

well, if there is a long away deadline, it should be possible, to talk about and plan a full team with all the different positions like players, support stuff, coaches and so on. Then put the list online and everybody check out , which mini he want to paint. Half an year should be enough

BTW... Tim, congrats for the second place at the french Tournement. :) I saw a lot of picts of your team

i like the idea of a WAY far away dealine, but i dont see any harm in pre-planning and brainstorming on what to do next. just too much in this thread, that's all. i just think we should start a new thread for brainstorming and things like that and say only mail your minis no sooner than like december and no later that march. give's us time to work on our teams or armies or whatever and still churn out some sweet conversions and paint jobs.

I agree in both respects. I would like a deadline by March, but I think we should have Race and team colour worked out by end of July, then who's painting what by end of August or September.

I'm not sure when the tourny after March is? End of April? But I believe we should consider that there must be time to draw winner and re-post the team during the period between Tourny time and deadline.

If it's to be once a year, please do it in the summer! That way i can do one!

And BTW you can vote at 18 over here. Drinking is the only one that's 21 and if you lived here and saw how stupid 90% of America is with their beer you'd think it should be 25. Frat boys frequently drink themselves to death in hazzing rituals. Imagine drinking yourself to death on Bud Light and Kessler's! :puke:

Greetings ,

Are there any pictures available from the completed team???

looking to see the flying gobbo painted , cheerleaders too

I would like to participate in the new team, the planning and hard deadline feel right to me.

Which teams are there to be released in the comming months??
heard something about elves(actually read it in bb mag 6 or 7..said next issue elves came with black/white picture of what looks somewhat like 2ed Elf holding ball) Migth be helpfull to know What is to be released for choosing a team .

Salutations,
Thordallim

Keep up the good work

would hate to see a team being almost done if the sweetest models are about to be released....;and should they all be GW (thinking of shadowforge coaching staff)

I think the idea is to use only GW models so that way they could be used in a tournament.

Which would be a cool epiloge for the winner to continue the life of the team they could enter them into a tournament and we could have a history for the TBB team here.

I've got more, but will need time to crop them and resize for the web. Here's a teaser, though:

Unfortunately, Anthony's and Grumbledook's minis still haven't come in, so they're not pictured. This is everything else, though, including my two entries and DaImp's cheerleader.

Good luck to all who entered, and congrats to the winner, a truly unique (in a good way!) team.
