What I imagine is a shambling horde of halflings that clearly were dead (once).

I really see them all shambling across the pitch in the typical B-film zombie way, arms stretched forward (if still present) with organs, and possibly some maggoths, coming out of holes in the body.

I don't have a clear picture of what Dead Wood should look like, but any nightmarish kind of dead tree should look great. Another option might be Undead Giants (that'd be great!)

The Mummies should definitely be of the egyptian kind, just like all other BB Mummies; maybe including a Tutanchamon-like mask (!).

Finally, the coach should definitely have a large, over-sized cloak/cape.

BTW How about a Halfling were-poodle starplayer? Or a Halfling Vampire?

i'd suggest using the wfb dryad figures for dead woods... they paint up evil enough in the right colors...

i think you should be looking for a unified theme to the miniatures... making an egyptian mummy and horror-movie zombies doesn't look like a 'team' it looks like 2 different ideas... what you need to do in order to get this thing to the next level is decide on something tight... do you want a halfling egyptian team with mummies and skeletons or do you want a halfling horror movie team with zombies and a half-pint frankenstein's monster... you'll need to get more refined if you want to have a shot at getting this done..

Wow that's great!!! Why didn't I think about that!!!

Do the Frankenfling!!!

Wow! I'm getting quite enthusiastic here! I wish I was (a lot) better at conversions/modelling! Do consider the vamp...

Forget about Egyptian Flings, they'd never work. I mean really, what kind of fat man wants to live in the desert? Believe me, this is the voice of experience.

I'd much rather see Night of the Living Deadlings. A shambling bunch of pint-sized zombies, perhaps lead by a werewolf of moderate size? I guess he'd be like a were-weiner dog or some sort of were-puppy. That would be awesome. Maybe even a tiny Michael Jackson, straight out of Tiny Thriller? I'd love to paint that little red jacket.

Really, I think that the Zombified approach would be much cooler. That be my $0.02, out I go.

This would be my ideal zombie for the team.

I think we should just stick with the B-movie theme and have the mummy much like the original B/W mummy movie. Just a halfling in wraps lumbering around moaning. No jewlery or egyptian artifacts on his.

The Skellies could be anything really I would like to see them with as few clothes and armour as possible. Maybe just lil pants and a shoulder pad.

For the dead wood I agree with Phil that a dyrad would work just fine.

Oh I hope this team gets made. everday I want these minis more.

Do deadlings get chainsaws?

What about one of the deadlings with one arm, holding his own arm as a club? Another one with arms outstretched, another one dragging his leg as if it fell out at the hip, another one holding his head in his arms... the possibilities are endless...

Frankenfling would rule! Striped shirt and all...

If you go for the Night of the Living Deadlings, I'd change my vote to Yes! That would a most cool set of figures. I'd be tempted to use them as a normal Undead team! 8)

FrankinFling could be the coach/star model.

This team could easily become my favorite team.

Well let's see..

Skeletal Deadlings would be pretty selff explanatory, small skeletons wearing ill-fitting fantasy football helmets, perhaps a sticky bun or donut in hands (or even better lodged inside the ribcage ;) )

Zombie Deadlings, a half decomposed short feller, shambling forward, practically unstoppable with various limbs missing from failed blocks. Ragged pads and a rusted half broken helmet would adorn the head.

Mummified Deadlings... I imagine the B movie Mummy, just half sized, arms thrust forward and an old helmet on with maybe a pad hanging off the rags.

I do like the idea however of replacing the Mummy with a Frakenfling :)

I vote for Frankenfling, too. I dig the idea of a 'fling with the high forehead and bolts sticking out of it's neck, in platform shoes. Also, I like the idea of a were-poodle. <evil grin>
