Refunds can be provided at tournament organiser discretion up until the week before the tournament, Saturday 10th May 2025. Any refunds after this date are strictly only if your place can be filled by another coach (due to prize purchases and cost of venue)

The first game will be randomly drawn between coaches, subsequent matchups will be Swiss pairings. Resurrection format i.e. casualties/injuries/deaths do not carry over to the next game, and no spp earned.

What to bring:
Team, a copy of your roster with extra skills clearly marked, dice. Please ensure all players/positionals are clearly identifiable, painted teams are not compulsory (but preferable). If using the star player mentioned below, please ensure the model is clearly different from the rest of your team.

Team building:
Tiering will be as per latest GW faq/errata
All 30 races available, (plus any teams released between now and up to a week before the tournament) each coach has 1,150,000 gp to spend on building their team.

Any inducements from the list of “common inducements” on page 89 of the Blood Bowl rulebook can be taken, with the following changes:
No Wizards, Special play cards, Biased Referee, or Mercenaries.
The following from Death Zone expansion are also allowed:
Giant inducements are available for tier 3 teams.
Team mascots available as an inducement for all teams.

As the tournament is taking place in the backwaters of Albion, no star players can be hired, with the exception of the special mutant star player below.

Tier 1: Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elves, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardmen, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elves

Tier 2 : Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Orc, Tomb Kings, Vampires, Slann

Tier 3: Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling, Gnomes

Skill packages:
As mutation is rife in this part of Albion this has had an effect on the players! All teams get free mutation skill(s) per below tiers, regardless of whether they normally have access to the skill tree. This cannot be exchanged for another primary skill

Tier 1 : 4 primary + 1 mutation
Tier 2 : 5 primary, 1 secondary + 1 mutation
Tier 3 : 5 primary, 2 secondary + 2 mutations

No skill stacking.

Primary skills can be taken in place of a secondary.

The peasants are revolting: With no stars in attendance the locals see this as an opportunity to get on the gridiron. One such potential has emerged from the marshland to offer their services to any team willing to pay up. Teams can add Gimme Six! after rostering 11 players and paying the GP cost.

Normal for Norfolk: Once per game this player may use the Claws skill. This does not have to be declared before the armour roll is made.

Timing:
Registration 9:30 - 9:50
Game 1 start 10:00 - 12:15
Lunch 45 mins 12:15 - 13:00

Each round will be played within a time limit of 2hrs 15 minutes, but assume approx 30 minutes per coach for each half.
Regular calls will be made for time remaining. If you are not into the second half when the 1 hour remaining call is made, it is advisable to start a chess clock
with around 2 min turns ensure the game is finished on time. Once time has been called it is dice down.

Scoring:
Win = 30 pts
Draw = 15 pts
Lose = 0pts
Bonus points will be awarded for touchdowns scored and casualties caused (all CAS's caused by you including crowd surfs and fouls count, failed dodges/rushes do not) up to a maximum of 3 for each.

Strength of schedule - Opponent score
Net TD's
Net CAS

Awards:
There will be a maximum of 1 prize per person, so if someone wins 2 or more awards, the "lesser" trophy will go to next eligible coach.

Stunty cup - best placed tier 3 team (awarded if uncontested, if placed 1st then award goes to next best stunty)
In addition there will be a bonus trophy for the best "Gimme Six!" model as voted for by the rest of the attendees.

There's ample parking on site.
Drinks will be provided (tea/coffee/bottled water/soft drink cans) but you will need to bring your own food. Alternatively, there is a garage 1 min drive from the venue, and a Lidl, McDonald's & Costa coffee about 7/8 mins drive in Downham Market on the A10 roundabout.
