Best Team names in the world....ever
Look at the newbie go.... (2 new threads both probably in the wrong section)
Just wondering if anybody had any teamnames they were either exceptional proud or jealous off.
My own personal fav:
Brotherhood of Smeg (Orcs)
Teams by others I really like....
Slanesh 69ers (Chaos obviously)
The Doom Bunnies (Goblins)
And some I'm planning....
The League against Tedium (Goblins)
The Lone Bunmen (Halfling)
Pyshedelic Furs (Skaven)
Squeaker Pimps (Undecided)
Over to your lot then...

I'm pretty sure we used to have one of these threads somewhere...oh well.
I think Gobbo teams get the best names...mine are going to be called either Shinkicker United or Monty Python's flying circus. Haven't even stuck them together yet though.
I also intend buying a Shadowforge Nun team, painting their habits pink and calling them the Twisted Sisters.
My 2nd ed. dwarf team that I'm just finishing off are called the Lavinberg Avalanche. "Lavin" and "berg" are swedish for "avalanche" and "Mountain".
Thats probably not as amusing or clever as I initially thought. Still, the logo is on the coach's jacket now so I'm stuck with it.

Altdorf Underachievers (Human)
Doomfire Warpsurfers (Skaven)
Kill Fury (Chaos)
And erm.. that's it. Only Kill Fury was mine (and it's a bit of a rubbish name tbh), other two were friends.

i remember at some point int he past on one of these boards or mailing lists one of the spanish coaches had an orc team whose name translated to 'green as the incredible hulk's balls' which was quite amusing...
best one's i've come up with:
she-woman man-haters' club (amazon, little rascals reference)
big, dumb, & ugly (BDU for short, orcs)
the dwarven miner's union local 151 football club
chaos smallstars (my 2e chaos dwarf team)
trafe united fc (probably no one gets this one but me)

Manflayers United
The Sylvania Redfangs
The Rottingham Raiders
The Karak-Grizdal Grizzlies
...
OK, I admit it, I was just summing up the teams I regularly play(ed)
