S.T.A.R. Championship VII - 03 September 2022 - Shrewsbury

3 game, 1 day tournament on Saturday 03 September 2022

The same concept as previous years but a change of location to Nerdy Coffee Company, a board games cafe in the centre of Shrewsbury.

1.25 million to spend plus a package of upgrades for one of the players on your roster to become your STAR Player with skills and/or stat increases.

See the attached rules pack for full information. The rules pack should hopefully contain everything you need to know.

Anyone can enter but numbers are restricted to the first 34 coaches. Payment must be in advance and your place is only secured once payment is received. The cost is £10 to NAF members and £15 to non NAF members. The £15 includes the NAF Registration fee.

Same weekend as Starplayer showcase, practically same rules... and Shrewsbury is local to cardiff. about 110 miles..

@boneless this is the 7th year in 8 years that I’ve run STAR and the rules haven’t changed over that time bar a few tweaks as BB2020 came in.

I don’t see 110 miles as local although I guess that is a judgement call. I suspect we draw in the main from a different pool of coaches. I would have avoided all other UK tourneys if I could but, when factoring in non Blood Bowl considerations as well as other Blood Bowl dates, that wasn’t possible unfortunately.

Really sorry about this and the news is pretty much out there now. Ruth and I split up 3 weeks ago and I have been househunting. Unfortunately two houses have come up for viewing tomorrow and I can’t afford to turn them down so I will be unable to make it tomorrow. I only just found this out this evening really sorry
