SquadChaos are proud to announce the Pre-NAFC 7's at Warhammer World is a go!

We will be running a 7's event at Warhammer World on the Friday night before the NAFC (29/04/2022)

Tickets are £5 to cover cost of trophies and prizes, any surplus will be put into the SquadChaos Charity pot. Payable to TeamChaos2018@outlook.com - please send as friends/family and include "pre-nafc 7's", and your naf name & number in the text. Any payments not following this will be taken as donations to the charity pot.

Registration from 1800, first game starts at 1830, and will consist of 3 x 1hr games.

Blood Bowl Sevens is different from regular Blood Bowl in a few important ways.

Thrudball Sevens follows the rules as per the latest Blood Bowl supplement - Death Zone.

It is a shorter, smaller, faster variant of the game, played by amateurs who tend to fall over a lot.

Resurrection Tournament

Because this is a short tournament with games back to back, the scouts for the Pro leagues won't have time to take players off to the draft, and we will be using Resurrection type rules as well.

Team Building

Teams are built to a budget of 600,000 gold coins.

Teams can take inducements, but wizards, cards, desperate measures, mercenaries and star players are banned.

Teams can be selected from any of the 29 races apart from Slann.

Only GW miniatures can be used, and Slann are not allowed to be used unfortunately (these rules are not up for discussion - its their house, their rules - if you cant abide by this, please do not attempt to play).

Teams can only have a maximum of 11 players on the roster.

No roster may take more than half of their normal selection for positionals. E.g., you may only take 0-2 Gutter Runners on a Skaven team, or 0-1 Blitzer on a High Elf team (rounding up)

You may not purchase team rerolls.

Skills Package

Before each game a player may be given a Primary skill, with no skill stacking.

Before the tournament you may select one player to be your team captain, they may be given the Pro skill, and are eligible for one further skillup as above.

Note; we are supplying pitches, so you don't need to bring one.

Quick question about team building: it says no more than half positionals, but in Death Zone it says you can't have more than 4 positionals in total... Is that also in effect here? Or could I (for instance) bring orcs with 2 blitzers, 2 blockers, 2 goblins, thrower, troll?

Edit: another quick one, will this be NAF ranked?

Banning Leader in Sevens is no longer allowed - as GW have a full published variant for Sevens then the NAF have to follow the new rules. It sucks but there you go...

Leader was never banned, it was suggested it was not allowed. In all the 7's I've played in, however, have allowed it anyway.

Cool, I've never played a NAF sevens so leader was always banned. I guess the team mascot is also available then
