Not exactly liking the fact the usual starting roster (2x blitzer, 2x catcher, 1x thrower, 6x lineman, and 3x reroll) is now out of reach. Would not like to start with only one catcher, but, then again, dropping the thrower sucks, too.

Start with two rerolls, and score with the thrower to get leader?

I am thinking of trying this. Both Throwers can still get quick SPP with 2+ pass to get some team skills. Can get Leader for first season and it will not matter after that as you will be re-drafting to 1300+

2 x Blitzers
2 x Catchers
2 x Thrower
5 x Linemen
2 x Re-rolls
3 x Dedicated Fans (20k)
Total 1000k

True, but here it is more about "I had something nice, and had to give it up". One less reroll at start does irk me.

I don't play elves too often, but do they need 3 rerolls?

I guess it depends where/how you play? Other than your first season you should always have 1300 kgp or more available and can get 3-4 TRR.

On FUMBBL everyone will reset to 1350, or so, after 15 games. I would expect table top leagues using the new rules will also have the end of season redraft with either no cap or one set at the level that group think is reasonable.

I think in the new system its probably better to go heavy on the rerolls, 2 seems short.
