Remove "Ogre" from Norse Team, add "Barbarian"
(Norse Team Big Guy = +Easily Confused, +1MA +1ST, +Block, +Break Tackle, + Multiple Block, +Horned Helmet, + Thruds Fans)

Now, thats does't work... I need a "Rookie" Barbarian !!! Based on "Thrud", how would your "Rookie" Barbarian look like ?

that looks like you just added thrudd to the norse roster, which imho is stupid

leave it as it is nothing wrong with them

BASED on Thrud, a BARBARIAN ROOKIE BIG GUY, replacing the OGRE ROOKIE BIG GUY on the Norse Team...

Surely the Norse are all barbarians.

Thrudd is just Thrudd, there is not a whole race of him waiting to train themselves up, he is unique (or a freak but don't let him hear that

Toby since this is a house rules anyway ... the MBBL2 has had a rookie Barbarian team for 2 years ... I even played one for a season.

The rookie Barbarian can become Thrud with the following in the MBBL2:

One normal Skill roll
Two doubles Skills rolls
Two Magic Helmets

You'll have to read the rules for the MBBL2 but this is how you can create Thrud from a rookie Barbarian in the MBBL2.

I just came up with the perfect solution.

Rename Minotaur to Barbarian on the Norse Team.
-Absolutely no change in Balance.
-"Always Hungry" and "Throw Teammate" removed but irrelevant
-Barbarian miniature is allowed permanetly on one Blood Bowl team.
-Wild Animal, Frenzy, Horns fit perfectly to a Barbarian fluffwise.

And don't tell me that the lack of a Minotaur is a violation of "Old World" fluff, I really cant imagine such a demonic creature on anything else but a Chaos or Chaos Dwarf team, but not on Humans which i consider the Norse to be.

Are Hobgoblins supposed to get "Right Stuff" in the future ?

btw, off-topic, I used to think Blood Bowl is expensive as well, but when i realised that I buy 250€ Graphics Cards just to play PC Games as well...
