hi... I don't want to be a kill joy but I was about to add this to my blog but it doesn't seem right... I think mistakes have been made for bonus points...

I think the match by match round by round results you posted further above are correct for me... therefore I would score 4, 2, 6, 12 .. totalling 24.
I don't think Howling Griffon lost his match against Gareth as I think he won that.

You may want to check it... I suspect you have used TD difference and Cas difference as bonus points instead of TD's scored and cas inflicted.

Ahhhh I see. I'd assumed (as I think others had on the day) that the bonus points for 1 point per casualty caused (max 3 points) and 1 point per touchdown scored (max 3 points) were per round... not to be added at the end of the tournament. I can see the rule set doesn't specifically state either way.

Maybe a note for your next Weagle Bowl, but it makes far more sense as a scoring separator to have the bonus points per round. I mean after all after 4 games you would have thought pretty much everyone would have scored 3 TDs and 3 Cas's.
I also noted the rule set doesn't state clearly what to use if coaches were on the same points at the end, eg TD diff, Cas diff, strength of schedule etc.

Hopefully other attendees will give their opinion, but I thought I would just give my 2 cents.

No worries, all comments good and bad happily received.
The plan for next year will be a complete rule set change, which hopefully will mean less dwarf teams.
I like to think we're still learning.
