Hi! All the information on exact dates and timings is in the attached pack, but it’s a 2 day, 6 game GT which runs Saturday and Sunday AND 2 1 day events; 7s in the Friday evening and a 2 game Deathbowl event on the Saturday.

Again all the details are in the pack :)

So I am hoping to attend the LGT - traveling in from Johannesburg - before heading out to the World Cup. These two tournaments will book end my trip!

I may need some help in finding a place to stay in London over the LGT weekend (after that I have a place in Reading and also traveling up to Nottingham)

Perfect mate, I'm off the World Cup too! Here's the accommodation advice from our website: https://www.lgtpresents.co.uk/

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS
There is a myriad of accommodation options in London, we always suggest attendees find a place to stay that meets their own aspirations for the event. There are a number of hotels a short uber ride from the venue, as well as copious Air BnBs in the vicinity. If you want a more lively weekend, consider staying in central London and commute to the venue.

Alternatively - the cheapest and closest accommodation to the venue - is the Lee Valley Campsite, where you can camp from as little as £9 or stay in a bungalow, cabin or even a wigwam for much less than a hotel room. As an extra bonus, you're just a 5 minute crawl from your gaming table in the morning.

The address of the venue is:

The Lee Valley Indoor Athletics Centre, 61 Meridian Way, Edmonton, London N9 0AR, UK

So look for hotels in the vicinity of that address. If you google 'London hotel' you'll get a myriad of websites where you can pop in the above postcode and look for one that meets your pricing criteria :)

I would have been interested in this but it's just too long a day. Four games starting at 9am ending at 8pm on the Saturday is bad enough but two games on the Sunday from 10am ending at 5pm is too much. I'm not sure there's a need for a 2.5 hour lunch break.

Anyway - that's what turned me off attending.

No worries mate.
Think that crazy long lunch break is a typo or something, I'm told it will be an hour unless queues at the venue are crazy.

Hopefully it'll be a good day for everyone - it's a massive event so I'm sure there will be lots to see (and buy!). My buddy is running the Warmaster tournament there :)

Shame this wasnt better attended as it was an awesome Venue, great gaming among 500+ gamers.

But Bloodbowlers numbered only about 14, and 12 took part in the Tournament.
