The Red Trophy II - High Wycombe - 16th March 2019 **FULL**
A little last minute but... the Red Trophy returns and in just over a months' time!
The Red Trophy
*NAF Approved*
The Red Trophy is a 1-day Blood Bowl tournament which will take place in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire on Saturday 16th March 2019. The tournament will be resurrection style, meaning all injuries and player deaths etc. reset after each round. The format of the tournament will be a random pairing for round one, followed by swiss style for the three rounds thereafter.
Venue:
Tabletop Republic
Chilterns Shopping Centre
High Wycombe
Buckinghamshire
HP13 5ES
Cost:
NOW FULL
Payment can be made via paypal to culleton.thomas@yahoo.co.uk
Please note this payment as a gift so that there are no associated charges for me to pay.
Please note your name, NAF name and number if you have them on the payment notes.
Food:
To keep the cost of entry down, lunch is not included in the ticket price.
Rules:
The Red Trophy will use the NAF CRP, with the following caveats:
+ Any roster updates published by Games Workshop before midnight, February 28th 2019 will be implemented.
+ Any star players published by Games Workshop before midnight, February 28th 2019 will be authorized.
+ Khorne, Bretonnians and Slann/Kislev Circus are permitted.
(Needless to say the tournament will not utilize any special stadiums or referee rules).
Team Building:
1,100,000 gold pieces allowance
Grak and Crumbleberry are prohibited. A maximum of two star players may be induced but only after 11 rostered players have been picked as normal.
The only inducements permitted are bribes, halfling master chefs and bloodweiser kegs. (Bribes and halfling master chefs may be induced by anyone at the appropriate cost).
Skills package:
All teams receive six "normal roll" skills to distribute to their team. Skills may not be stacked, however there is no maximum to the number of times a skill can be duplicated on the team.
Halfings, Ogres and Goblins may replace up to two of these six "normal roll" skills with "double roll" skills instead.
All teams must be painted with at least 3 colours and be comprised of appropriate fantasy miniatures which reflect the positionals they are intended to represent.
What You Need:
A painted team (minimum 3 colours)
Board and dugout
Dice
Templates
2 x printed rosters
Scoring:
2 Points for a win
1 Point for a draw
0 Points for a loss
Tie breaking system will take into account net touchdowns followed by net casualties.
In the event of a complete tie the winner will be determined by head to head record.
In the freakish event two coaches did not play each other and cannot be separated they will be forced to play each other for eternity until the extinction of mankind and a vortex swallows the earth.
Or dice off.
Prizes:
There will be prizes/trophies awarded for the following:
The Red Trophy Winner
Runner Up
Most Touchdowns
Most Casualties*
Stunty Cup (Ogres, Halflings, Goblins)
Best Painted Award
*Any injury that goes into your opponents injury box (even if it's just passing through) counts towards the Most Casualties award. (And also for the tie breaker.)
Schedule:
The action is non-stop! Four games are obviously difficult to cram in so please be on time so that we can get going promptly and out of courtesy for your opponent. Two hour time limit for each round will be strictly adhered to and games will be called if necessary.

I've been trying to figure out a four-game timeframe, yours seems the sensible way to go, so hope you don't mind me pinching it.
