originally, the idea was to have the game time to be 2:15 for all games. There are no game end times for the first two games each day mentioned, so you might think they are all different.

But after attending UKTC with 2:30 game time, we decided to adapt to this, which might lead to a slightly earlier start time each day as well as a later start time for game 3,6 and 9. We need the hour lunch time to feed that many people.

Once the registration is closed end of March we will update the tourney schedule and write emails to all squad captains.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

An extra 15 minutes would be sooooo nice. Takes the stress of the slower coaches (guilty as charged) and gives faster coaches more time for socializing (i imagine).

Sorry, can I quote you on this? Changing to 2h30. Is this set in stone? I'm asking because we run practice tournaments here in Portugal, for our World Cup teams and it's important as we adapt to playing with time limites. Thank you.

not set in stone, yet. But if you keep practising 2:15 it will help in general ;)

Yes, practice getting a match finished in 2 hours. Don't be that guy who has a ref looming over with a clock every round. ;)

Please do set it in stone, it just makes such a difference in the stress level in the game and makes it a lot more relaxing to play. You can even chat and be friendly with those extra minutes! (all IMO obv)

Either by car (6 hours) or by train (not idea how ling it'll take). .... or you can try flying from Vienna to Zurich and take one of our shuttle busses, a rental car or the train.

Fun fact: in order to get to Dornbirn (Western Austria) from the capital Vienna, you have to travel through Germany..... The Austrian don't like digging tunnels through the alps like the Swiss do

My plan was to fly into Zurich, spend three days in Zurich, shuttle bus to Dornbirn, play WC, then travel on to Vienna but struggling to find a practical/affordable way of doing it. I searched on the trainline and couldn't find a train that ran from Dornbirn to Vienna - i'm sure there's a way but i'm struggling to find it!

well, there are a dozen coaches from Vienna coming to the World Cup. If you end me an email with all this information (Worldcup4@sbbm-turniere.com), I can forward this to them and see if you can hitch a ride back with them. My guess is, if it is only one or two persons that there is a good chance.

I know, you probably have a lot of more important things on your mind, but maybe you already have an answer to my question. Concerning skill rings:

I understand you provide us with skill rings that will go around the base and that the use of these skill rings is mandatory. I welcome this decision! However, do you yet know, for which base size the skill rings will be (25 mm, 32 mm, Big Guys?) and how they will be placed onto the base?

Thank you very much up front!

you really should give us come trust for thinking about these things BEFORE we offer this. Your squad captains will be informed in April about this, once we have the final numbers in.

I apologise if my question came out the wrong way. I fully trust your expertise and have confidence that you have been thinking this through! I was asking because I was considering having 3d numbers on my bases and wanted to make sure, the skill rings will still fit.
Maybe I should have worded my question this way in the first place...
