Come along and enjoy. We played in the first game at Squig Trophy and that was my first tournament game as well. Sorry about the "gentle" initiation, but I am sure you will have fun. Hopefully fitting in one more tournament before this one. You should have a look at the Elflympics too in December

Not to go off topic, but Elflympics could be a tough one for a new coach due to all the crazy builds. Great tournament (I'm hoping to go to it for the third time this year, myself), but could be a nasty surprise for a new coach, due to all the weird rosters people will bring.

You'll be fine for Elflympics- it's a zany tournament, loads of weird rosters. I'll be bumbling around on the bottom few tables as per usual

Just pick a roster that's just crazy enough to work, then hope it does! First Elflympics I took Chaos Dwarves- no rerolls, but every player had Pro. It was insane
