Centigors

Post by tommy316 »

Has anybody seen these new mini's they look pretty sweet. I'm guessing they are Chaos, but does anybody have any background on them?

They look like they could be a pretty awesome BB player. Not that Chaos really needs another player, but maybe a cool star player / freebooter.

With no knowledge of the background, maybe:

7 3 3 8 Horn, Stand Firm GEN, ST, PHYSICAL (90k) Player
7 3 3 8 Horn, Stand Firm, Sprint, Sure Feet, RSC (130k) Star Player

But, I like I said, Chaos probably don't need another player. I don't play Chaos so I don't really know- just liked the figs.

You'll have to cycle through the pictures.

It's here: http://www.gamesworkshop.com/news/news.us
On the Sneak Preview updates, if the first link doesn't work.

Thanks.

They look silly...
And the Chaos Trolls look like grown Horrors...

I don't really like the new Chaos Look, I guess...

The trolls do look kinda stupid; but I like the Centigors alot, expect maybe the funky hoofs.

I like the idea, and the overall figures look pretty good, but I really dislike the Buffy-Daemon heads that all Beastmen now have...

Speaking of Centaurs, have you seen the Confrontation Centaur Skeleton mini's? The Heavy Armor ones are really tough. As well as the Barbarian Kelt Centaur by Confrontation.

I've seen them somewhere, some time...

Confrontation really makes incredible miniatures, but they combine very poorly with any other company's miniatures because of their comic-style (oversized heads, hands and muscles)

Hey now, when is the last time GW had a truly original idea in sculpting?

I like those centigors, and the chaos troll too.

It amazes me they like Phils stuff, which tends to put a different spin on old mini's.

Well there are Khorngors as well..

I'd love a beastman team seperate from chaos, though what little knowledge I have of the beastman army list doesn't help :)

Bleh, who needs WHFB fluff anyway?

0-16 / Linebeast / 6338 / horns / gen-str-phys / 60k
0-4 / Beastman Blitzers / 7338 / horns, block / gen-str-phys / 100k
0-2 / Beastman Blockers / 5429 / horns, thick skull / gen-str-phys / 110k
bigguy / Minotaur.. blah blah

Yup, just never liked that team to be honest, never like the idea of wimpy Beastmen Ungors and always felt that the bestigors/big beastmen would have thick skulls from biffing each other :)

If it wasn't forr the feet I'd quite like the centigors.

But bring back proper centaurs :pissed:
