Venue seemed excellent, I'd be very happy to see it there again.

I think some of your other rule sets are a lot more robust than Basic (allowing a wider selection of competitive races), but another Basic wouldn't put me off attending.

Thanks for organising Al! And grats on your performance - admin duties suck energy and are extremely distracting so very impressive on-pitch performance to overcome that handicap.

Great event as always Al, your events continue to be almost definites on my calendar. Love the homemade trophies - hope to win one of them some day!

Would love to see the returning the negative skill progression, really.liked that last year.

Venue was ok, great location, got.a little.*manly* in the room both days though. Not much you can do about that other than offering your inexhaustible supply of Lynx around.

Creepy shop owner randomly sitting in on one of my games was odd...

But 6 great games, great curry, and another great event some mate, Thanks!

I prefer second round Swiss. Other than that the ruleset is fine if not *ahem* basic.

Bonus points for hosting in a venue with a steady stream of gym bunnies wandering past.

Location?? Not great IMHO, too warm and if thats what a "Sports Centre" smells like I now remember why i avoid them.....

However, taking all the above into account, if you ran it exactly the same next year Id be back.....

Venue was too hot for me, that was the only real downside (been very ill overnight as i suffer badly in heat and that's my excuse for the Bret performance lol ). Guessing it being above a swimming pool is the cause?
