Would love to play in this too if a spot comes up - could you put me down as a second reserve please?

The team reveals continue on the FB page. We have gone from Amazons to High Elfs alphabetically, a new one every 2 days.

We may have a space . . . . somone appears to have potentially vanished. I'll know in a week, if anyone is interested let me know.
Also . .. the draw starts a week today. I'll post the teams here on the day but most of them are now on the FB events page

Re: MM II: Manticore Mug, Teams pg1, Draw pg5
So here we are at last . . . . the draw for the first round! A quick reminder of the rules, I'll pick 2 coaches and they have 2 days maximum to review the teams and let me know what they want to play. Coaches must send me their top 3 choices and both will get their top choice unless they pick the same team . . . then it moves on to the 2nd choice for each.
All of the teams are attached to the first post.
I'll be announcing the draw here and on the FB event page.
Available Teams are -
Khorne
Nurgle
Round 1 draw
Phlsmth (Dwarfs) v Nightwing (Undead)
WoddyWoos (Wood Elfs) v Jip (Lizardmen)
Everybodys Dead Dave (Norse) v Nathan Easby (Necromantic)
AngryHobbit (Chaos Dwarf) v 20Phoenix (Orcs)
Dionysian (Vampires) v Speedingbullet (Elf Union)
ColderClimate (Khemri) v Merrick (Humans)
Justin Easby (High Elfs) v WWE2015 (Skaven)
Alatos (Amazons) v Rene Hawes (Dark Elfs)
Heartsbane (Bretonnians) v Andswin (Chaos Renegades)
Gorgoroth (Underworld) v Maverick (Halflings)
Whitey (Chaos) v Dreamscreator (Slann)
Landrover (Ogres) v Twelfman (Goblins)

Re: MM II: Manticore Mug, Teams pg1, Draw pg5
Draft 1
A fine couple of bearded coaches (which to be fair facial hair is on trend right now so that hardly narrows it down that much). These two coaches finished 4th and 6th last year and so both have a fine pedigree in this competition and each get to start with an enviable choice of 26 teams to select from.
Phlsmth doesn't play many tournaments, but when he does, he performs remarkably well. Last year he was the Rookie Wonder winner and the Glowworm award winner too. He also won his first ever attempt at playing a BB7s tournament near the start of the year. Bloody show off!
Nightwing, one of the few hosts of ABAO to still be hosting the show. Just be aware this fame means he'll come with his own entourage of people to keep the 'unwashed' at bay (something the BB community does struggle with at times!).
Team choices please!

Draft 2
It's another interesting pairing . . . Jip v WaddyWoos. There's one big question surrounding this fixture. Just how drunk will Jip be before game 1 begins? Last year it got messy, very messy! Gents you have 24 teams to choose from, if you play well you won't get this much choice again!

...drunk.
...picking teams without looking at the rosters (list sent).
...letting Glowworm and Landrover 'advise' me on what to pick between rounds.
...losing all my games!

Aspiring to improve on mid-table mediocrity, over in the SAWBBL.

Draft 3
Ah the first of the Incom coaches out the hat. He has a quiet obsession with beards and yet remain clean shaven. Fingers crossed you get drawn against him in game 4 . . . normally by then he's had a few and makes even more rash decisions than normal. He is soon to be immortalised in the Auld Wold BB7s series of special play cards . . . . . Everybody's Dead Dave!
What can I say about Nathan Easby? A man with a rare talent for the Harpsichord, a collector of small Russian dolls, he made a very brief appearance on Estonia's got Talent, a close and personal friend of Nigel Havers, a founding member of the Hebridean Knitting society called 'Stitch n Bitch' . . . wow I could go on and on about this chap, I really could. Wouldn't you want to be him? I would. What else can I say about Nathan Easby? Well just about anything as I don't know him at all
Gents - decisions please!
