Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
At least I was using Nurgle that time. I will see you that and raise you:
My Orcs losing to Jim's Ogres.
or
My Undead losing to Paul's Halflings.
But nothing beats this year at UKTC, where my Dark Elves lost to a lovely man playing only his 5th ever game of Blood Bowl. That was his only win in a 1/1/4 tournament.

Having recently got the drive to start playing more tournaments, I would be really interested playing at this event and getting more involved with English Blood Bowl in general.
Hi Gav. Speedingbullet asked the question whether this ought to be "English only"... what do others think? Should we give EO and EB first dibs? Could drop some PMs / emails to see which English guys would like to come first?
OK mate, general question still stands regarding the question of whether this ought to be just English? Or English EO/EB invitation, with non-English folks asked to attend if spaces remaining?
I guess the reverse question is...if Team Scotland/Wales were aiming to put together a practice day for their community/team members, would they be happy with English coaches coming to it? I'm honestly not sure what the answer is, and whether keeping these kind of things separate is cool because it encourages a bit more national spirit/pride/whatever (we are rivals at the end of the day!), or whether it'd be better off being open to all in the spirit of bloodbowling comradeship and wider learning.
