Information
A special one evening event for 1000TV teams, with quicker games, and 3 matches in one evening for some beer-fuelled Blood Bowl shenanigans!
Rules -
· Matches will be the usual 8 turns per half, but there is a 2 minute turn rule!
· All teams will play 3 matches during the evening, match-ups to be randomly determined after each round of matches completed.
· The event will use the new 2016 edition rules.
· The event is open to all the regular 24 races, plus the newly approved Khorne & Brettonia teams, to a maximum TV of 1000k.
. Speedbowl is a resurrection tournament with all injured players returning for the next game.
. Teams can allocate one normal skill to one player before game 1, they may allocate one skill to another player before game 2 and a one to a third player before game 3. This must be represented with a skill ring. No player may be allocated more than one skill.
· Each team will receive one free special card at the start of each match, this will be taken from the new deck included in the 2016 box set. Stunty teams were underrepresented last time, so to encourage stunty teams to join in the fun they will be awarded 2 cards (stunty teams being Goblin, Halfling, Ogre and skink only Lizardmen).
· Inducements may be taken as normal, but special play cards cannot be taken as inducements.
Scoring
Same scoring system as the Bugman’s Full Beard Cup - i.e. uses a system of Cup points to determine who will be the winner of the event. You earn Cup Points from your games in the following way:
• Win a game: 60 points
• Draw a game: 30 points • Lose a game: 10 points
There are also additional bonus points on offer:
• A Close Call : Lose by 1 Touchdown: +5 points
• Gave ‘em a hidin’: Win by 2 Touchdowns: +5 points
• rashed ‘em!: Win by 3 or more Touchdowns: +10 points
• Clean Sheet: Concede 0 Touchdowns during the game: +10 points
There will be a trophy and a prize for the winner! Plus a prize for the top stunty team!
