Throw team mate a gaze player
Can you throw team mate a player that has been hypno gazed?

Re: Throw team mate a gaze player
TTM just says the player has to be standing, nothing about needing to have a tackle zone.
Yes, you can throw a player who has been hypno'd.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Worth mentioning that Fumbll doesn't allow you to do it.
Client bug I assume rather than rules interpretation.
Just looked on the most recent FAQ.
"Q: Players under influence of Bone-head, Really
Stupid, or Hypnotic Gaze cannot use skills that allow
them to move voluntarily. Which skills are not
allowed to be used as they are considered moving
voluntarily?
A: Skills that allow you to leave your square without
being forced to leave your square in the first place:
Diving Tackle, Pass Block, and Shadowing."
As Right Stuff allows the throwee to leave their square without being forced to, perhaps Hypno gaze should stop them being thrown...

Being thrown by a Big Guy hardly counts as not being forcedeldritchfox wrote:As Right Stuff allows the throwee to leave their square without being forced to, perhaps Hypno gaze should stop them being thrown...

I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to.

Re: Throw team mate a gaze player
I don't see a problem with the throw, my question would be could a gazed player land?

Re: Throw team mate a gaze player
Neither Right Stuff or TTM mention gaze, so presumably no effect, it's how I would play it, but it seems.strange to land when gazed.lunchmoney wrote:Just read the rules bookBakunin wrote:So Tom or other BBRC members

Re: Throw team mate a gaze player
I should imagine the action of being thrown not only takes you out of the gaze itself but is something of an awakening moment...

Re: Throw team mate a gaze player
The Right Stuff skill says nothing about needing a tackle zone to land - hence a hypno'd player can land just fine.
To remove gaze you need to declare an action. A thrown player is not declaring any actions so there is no reason to remove gaze upon landing.

Re: Throw team mate a gaze player
Nothing in the rules stops a gazed player from being thrown or landing ... however he'd still be gazed after the landing.
