Just as a matter of interest, whats the "official-ness" of the old Dungeonbowl rules printed in WD whatever?

Rereading them I don't think they'd need any real alteration for BB2K1 (the only one I'd make is that players pushed into Lava, chasms or whatever are treated as lost in the void instead of just plain killed, so the rules are usable in League play), and they might make a nice addition to the next BB annual, when GW might consent to print some Endzones as punchout pages.

Just a thought. Just got me some humans to make a proper Bright College team with my Dwarfs y'see...

I think it should be fully compatible myself... It certainly will be very soon in A'dam if Lucy can get the other players moving!

WD225 has all the bits you need and can be found very cheaply on EBAY if you're lucky....

Going on a hunch, I'd mark them House Rules.

The DB squares aren't big enough for 3rd Ed+ games, they make the passing ranges way off for one thing. We usually play a DB tournament every year using house rules, if you want to do the same I'd suggest enlarging the DB tiles first.

That said, a "DB Update" would make a fab CJ article.

The WHQ tiles are cool but in my experience the maps created with them are very hard on "slow" teams. Especially with long corridors etc. It's bad enough using the real DB tiles!

And the other problem is that would be more expensive than using DB Files... If I were you, I'd buy a DB copy, scan it, and work with Photoshop, or something like that...

Yeah V-UK!!

That $0.75 must leave your wife and children hungry...

Actually, I was looking at the Dungeonbowl stuff last night and have a question....

It says you are alowed a maximum of 2 blitzers and 4 blockers, but these definitions confuse me. A Dwarf longbeard and a Chaos Dwarf have matching stats, but Longbeards are 'linemen' and Chaos Dwarves are 'blockers'. If Dungeonbowl is to work properly, better definitions are needed, but it would be fun to ressurect it in line with 2K1 BB.....

Talking about dungeon bowl: In our gaming club we usually don't use real rules, just play a championship as usual and the give the price. I want to change this; anyone can tell me a place were can I download the rules? Sure it exists as DB is no longer available from GW

It's not on the Net anywhere as far as I know, but it is in WD225. I think the A'dam league hopes to put it on their site soon (if Neils ever gets his PC working.....)
