Hi Norse,

The original stretch goals which were all worked out and budgeted for are included. The new "add-on" stretch goals had to be added because of the unexpected popularity of the campaign. I had to make these "add-ons" in order to ensure my expenses would not spiral out of control with the popularity of the campaign. I tried to be as transparent about this as possible by marking them as "add-ons" from the very start.

And I can see what you mean about the idea of a medic miniature being more like a soccer or American football trainer with a sponge but I personally think it's funnier to have a medic who needs to be prepared for surgery due to the list of injuries in Blood Bowl which range from a sprained ankle to a broken back :) My image of a fantasy football doc has always been more like an Ork Painboy so that's partly where I've taken my inspiration from on this. I wanted him to be an over-the-top character.

to be clear jBone, I'm not criticizing either your campaign or your choice of imagery. Beauty will always be in the eye of the beholder after all. I've been a staunch supporter of the campaign until now and may well add other unlocked items if/when we get there. The doc just doesn't quite work for me financially or thematically..

I am on Norse's side of the fence. The apoth also wasn't suiting my taste and I was struggling to imagine a casualty needing a chisel and screwdriver (although I watched Supervet last month and he was using a screwdriver to get some spine implants in place).

The concepts are fantastic as always (and I am sure the sculpts will be also) but for me the only I will add on is the head coach.

Of course I can always be swayed, especially as I originally voted No to this project

My friend's Dwarf Apothecary is "Doc Walkitoff".

That said, I like the current design (Doctor Froggenstein?). Given the success rate of Apothecaries at treating serious injuries, I can definitely see a crazed psychopath with a hacksaw. "Bet you won't care as much about that concussion if I break your leg, right??"

I am sure that the campaign is a success, but with the goals of star players I'm very happy.

To be one of the least used races in the game, breaking all team, positionals and star players ( without Morg ) is very impressive

That's how I always imagine it when you roll a niggling injury and then roll a death result... To me that's the apo trying to poke the bone back through the skin and hitting an artery with it and having to bring him back to "just maimed" status! Haha!

Yep, when an Apothecary offers me the choice between something which is a firing anyway, like -ST or something, and death, quite often I just let the player die with honor on the field. It's what they would have wanted! (And funerals are cheaper than an injury settlement).

Pretty please!

Its the one I could be tempted into purchasing, if I'm given the opportunity to purchase (although I'm also secretly hoping that he's not made available to avoid another model being purchased  )

What does that saying mean?

I learned another one at the dungeonbowl:

"Ich kotz im Strahl" I vomit in a (straight)beam. Apparently used when luck sucks consistently.
