Meh. Star players are rare in tournaments, and in my TT league it's pretty rare to have more than 200-300k in inducements. It happens, but I'd rather have a Coach or Babe or Apothecary which I'll use often than another Star Player I'll use maybe once every two years.
Oh, and rerolls and turn markers. HINT HINT

I had considered this but was not convinced that it would sell! We may have to consider something like this though.
Up to 16,550 EUR at the moment so am making sure the concept art for the next guy is ready to go.
I will also be adding some add-ons to the campaign over the weekend so keep your eyes peeled
Heff...Keeping the Dwarf (and lego) hate alive
If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

it depends.
here in belgium (and in france as well), we see more and more tournaments promoting the use of starplayer.
i have even already seen some rulesets where each team have to hire a starplayer.
But Morg, it's very difficult to hire him. Even for halflings.

the solitaire wrote:This is very much in line with my thoughts. Goblin sized the miniature would lose some detail which could be included in a larger miniature, so even if he ends up not being noticably smaller then the linefrogs I do believe that in this case the quality of the final sculpt will be more important to me then the literal translation of an available miniature JBones frogs team.
Quality is not defined by the size, we would have bought a team with a bigger scale if it was, and you need less detail for a smaller mini unless you have some eyes with zoom.
I just want to comment that the puns on this thread are now getting toadily out of hand!

"Everyone loves the underfrog." PeteW, coaching the NAF Championship Prize (Slann) team, in a FUMBBL game "I don't really trust a sane person." Lyle Alzado
I just read the Slann team. How have I not known this qas a thing? This team calls to me like a thing. That calls really loudly! I may not be good at similes, but I am awesome at loving characterful teams designed around sneaky play.
Consider me invested.

Though I would prefer a smaller frog, I can see your reasoning for not doing so and it won't detract from the SP he could represent.
Besides, your campaign, your prefrogative.
My main concern is that I don't want the sculpts to look deribbitive.
That could cause the concept to croak.
PS: I just moved to Derby!
Just moved to Derby? You poor thing. Drop me a message with your email address and I'll give you a shout when we kick off the next season of the Derby Blood Bowl League
