Looking for hi-res BB Ogre logo
Hey,
can anyone point me towards the BB Ogre Team logo in a high resolution? I seem not to be able to find more than 300x300 px (and yes, I know how Google serach works).
Cheers!

if you have an account on fumbbl, you will see, there is a guy there that is creating logo to anyone that asked some team logo.
he is a huge topic including all these requests, and related logos

I don't think that the team logos have ever been released in a higher quality than that.
What size do you need?

Your best bet is going to be to convert what you have into a vector (using something like Adobe Illustrator or various online sites that will do it) then size that up, since vectors will look roughly the same at any size unlike bitmaps that get pixelated and gross as you size them up.Sebelsultan wrote:But I am specifically looking for this logo in hi-res...
The downside is that you'll lose some detail with a vector. If you ask it to do a lot of detail than it ends up not being too bad - I've used it for my own logos and images in the past and it works out.

I doubt you'll find anything higher rez unfortunately, the original piece was done by Wayne England (RIP) so you might have luck finding a better quality version looking for his art showcases but the iconography he did was all quiet small.

Re: Looking for hi-res BB Ogre logo
I ran the small image through Illustrator... which, I should point out, I'm not very good with. Here's a quick and dirty vectorization of the logo sized up to around 1800px on a side... linked to as an URL because I can only imagine what sort of terrible formatting hell it'd result in if placed as an image in a forum post:

You can probably retain more sketch-level detail by increasing the settings or using software that is made for specifically turning rasters into vectors (some exist), but that's an example. Vectors can be scaled up or down indefinitely without losing any detail.

Thanks Voodoo!
That image is actually not too bad. Matter of fact, I do run Inkscape on my computer, but have no experience with it. Might have to give it a shot.
Thanks everyone else, too!

Re: Looking for hi-res BB Ogre logo
So, I used Inkscape to Change the Image to a vector Image. That worked out pretty good. And then, after some playing around, this is what I came up with as a new logo for my Ogre Team:
