The problem with WA is not that it has to block, or go first.

The problem is that it can not be assisted!

This is in play reguardless of if you "play the Wild Animal" or not.

Perhaps the old blood greed rule could be brought back for Minatours. If he kills a player (who's not apoth'd) he must retire to the dug-out for the rest of the drive/half while he feed, allowing the WA trait to be toned down a little (maybe allowing assists?)

The RO could gain the use of assists, and become BH/RS as well (as according to WFB fluff [ yes, I know it's a different world] RO are stupid creatures that have to be led.

I actually quite like this but, I would allow him to make any move rather than just blitz or block. Just keep the restrictions on moving out of tackle zones and he's still easily distracted.

If that's not enough perhaps he must always end his moves next to an opponent if he's able?

I don't know about Rat Ogres, but I know my Mino screws my Chaos more than helps... :-? Before he got Block I was losing on average 4-6 turns a game from him. That's just ugly. I mean...honestly...why WOULDN'T I have taken an Ogre instead? Mino is just taken because then they can get PO/RSC and just kill players mercilessly, that's all...until they get to that level of just massacreing people they hurt way more than they help.

The only reason I take a Minotaur for my Chaos Dwarfs, is because he fits the "cow" theam. Bull Icons, Bull Centaurs, and Minotaurs. All they need is some "cowy" thing for the hobgoblins. Maybe fake utters and horny helmets?

Not being able to recive assists makes somthing that is only as bad as boneheaded much much worse. If I could just give him a few goblin watchers, to keep him in line things would be much better.
