Er, is it just the way I play it, or aren't you not allowed to blitz and pass with the same player in the same turn... :o

It's not allowed to do that.
You're right Indigo.

I just never have had the opportunity of the ball being in the endzone to start with. Maybe next time i have the opportunity i will move in there to start with! will that count?
I dunno, 1 square makes all the difference as you well know!

Please do move in there to start with, if only for the prestige! Your opponent will be like "What the hell?!" and you'll be "Well there's this forum and I've done it from 1 square away twice but now I want to do it properly!"

Then my friend, you will be one of us! :smoking:

Still, there was a post earlier about starting from the line of scrimmage

Zeroalpha you can borrow a square from me :D . I once blitzed my opponents ball carrier out into the fans 7 squares away from my endzone. The ball got thrown back in but went far to the left (actually so far that it went off field again). Those fans threw it 4 squares and my Thrower ran and picked it up. The thrower then ran and passed one of my Linemen standing alone in the middle of the field right at the line of scrimmage (don't ask how you manage to do that...) he ran and handed it over to my catcher who ran and made a touchdown.

Indigo,

My league allows players to blitz and pass in the same turn. This allows heroic plays, and is fun to see.

It doesn't come into play as often as you would think.

My passer dodged once and went for it twice to score.

My opponent didn't say a word. He just sat and watched my victory dance.

Did I mention it was my last turn of a 2-2 tie? He had been gloating that he was going to win.
lineman blitzed and passed?

That's two actions mate, still a nice TD though

End to end

Post by Smeborg »

I've done it with an inexperienced Orc team - nice that.

The ultimate is to do the end to end play with a side that does not have Throwers or Catcher types.

And of course the real ultimate is CORNER to CORNER.

Cheers

Couldn't agree more. Hence when I did it with the undead, I felt it worthy of a thread (see original post). Yes I know I used ghouls but they didn't have catch so therefore not catchers :P

Still, come on Chaos coaches! Lets have one done entirely with rookie Beastmen! I'll even forgive use of a RR

Corner to corner would definitely be cool as well.
