make that 4 or 5.Bloodbasher Masher wrote:Anthony, that is a great gobbo. I can think of at least 3 or 4 people who would pay cash for something like that......

I can see him now, not sure what the deal was eariler. VERY cool! Now all that's left is the "easy" part...painting him!

To be honest, it's a really easy conversion! Here's how to make him:
1 pair of Goblin Wolf Rider legs
1 Goblin torso
1 Goblin head
1 Goblin outstretched archer arm from Wolf Rider sprue
1 Goblin Right arm (one with a good angle on it)
1 right hand from Zombie sprue (I used one from the standard top)
2 Marauder shoulder pads
1 clear flying stand pole
1 round base (the kind with no slot)
Green Stuff!
Preheat oven to 450°, put in a mini pizza or something. Make a ball out of Green stuff, let it dry. Glue legs to torso, you might want to angle it back a bit and fill the gap in the belly with Green Stuff. Glue on the head, might want to angle it back a bit as well and fill in the gap at the throat if desired. Eat mini pizza. Cut bow off of outstretched arm and glue to torso. I cut mine down a bit since it looked a little long (cut off behind bracer and cut away some of the arm below elbow, re-attach). Glue Zombie hand to ball (see if it fits OK first, I used a bit of super glue and clamped it to dry so the fingers fit better around it). Glue ball hand to right arm. When dry, glue arm to body. Glue on shoulder pads. With a pin vice, drill out a hole somewhere in his belly for the flying stand. I had to file the pin part of the stand a bit to fit in the hole made with the biggest bit that comes with the pin vice GW sells. Make a hole in the round base and glue in the pole, I used a bit of Green Stuff underneath to make it more secure.
That's about it! Next step is to prime and paint and then fix it to the stand when it's all done. Oh, and do the base with some flock etc. as well. Best tip I have is to make sure the glue is dry before you move on to the next step, I had to go back a cuople of times because I was impatient

Tim just left from my home ,2.00am right now ... he visited me and we trade some ogre heads
... and , before Dave asks again, yes, we played a game. His CDs against my 3.ed orcs. Lot of fun and i learned a lot. First game i played "out of family"
We "managed" to play a draw with lot of Tim´s help
Here a typical scene of our game
http://www.ruediger-rickassel.de/picts/timcds.jpg.
And Tim still has all of his minis... he just was a bit worried for his balls, ehm, i mean for his BB balls, as THE HAMSTER climbed the table and was searching for food...
http://www.ruediger-rickassel.de/picts/hamster1.jpg
And we saw both the flying Gobbo at TBB... and discuss, how it was made. Now i see, we were not too wrong with guessing...
Just wondering, how he will look painted.

Hehe, nice picture, Rüdiger
I'll show it my friend who's playing orcs as well, maybe he recognizes that situation.
Too bad we didn't manage to run in a single score ... a Blood Bowl game without touchdowns is just half the fun. But Nuffle didn't want to see it ...
Well i got home without any problems or falling asleep while driving. Thank's again, nice evening!

Sushé Wakka...Was the hamster playing heroquest before he noticed your match?
yes , it seems so. But THE HAMSTER decided that there wasnt bloody enough, so he went for a look for BB.

I got another pict, while THE HAMSTER tried to break in the famous BB suitcase of Tim...

BTW... Tim, my girlfriend told me to tell you, next time you will get more beer and something to eat. She want to cook some asia next time, too. I was so much "on" BB, i didnt realiased my bad manner...

hm, so, my girlfriend told me this.

OK, next time ...

I sent my goblin #11 today. Don't know if he'll make it before the deadline, but at least he is on his way across the atlantic now.
He is not fixed to the base so I'm hoping that you (Milo) will give him a drop of glue. The static grass will probably look like an ogre has been sitting on it when it arrives to the US, but what can I do
