Post by Purrbear »

I just got a Skaven army and I'm looking for a good name for it. Any suggestions of words associated with "da Rats"?

LOL!!

My skaven are called The Brotherhood of Evil Rodents (they are giant mutant rats w/ capes after all).

How about The Justice League of Super Rodents? X-Rats? Fantastic Rats?

When I start my new skaven team they're gonna be called "Rat-on". When they score or kill or do onything good, I can say "Rat-on, Rat-on!"

I've been the Rattsburgh Squeelers for as long as I can remember.
Warpington Ratskins is another good play on an NFL team name.

I just got a 2ed. skaven team and am currently working on them. I'm going to paint their rags green and white checkered squares and the rest weather beaten and rusty armor. Haven't picked out a name, thinking of either going with a parody of Celtic Football Club and calling them "Killtic F.C." (not sure about that yet) I also thought of doing a fun name, like "Moiydered Inc." (since they'll likely get murdered on the pitch), but well, that's not a name that inspires victory and confidence! I think I want something that isn't a form of rat, but I like the ones everyone else has posted. :smoking:

I once had a team called the Pestiferous Porn Stars. The dirty player, who's name was Richard but was more commonly known as Dirty Dick, was the star of the bunch. There were also Burping Burt, Hardcore Hart, Contagious C_u_n_t, Fornicator Fern, Crazy Craig, Horny Whore and Hairy Harry.

Edit : stupid censorship screwed up one of the names.

Milo, those are also a couple of excellent suggestions for team names -- unfortunately my team isn't painted in the colors of either NFL team (although, if I'd thought of those first, I might have done so). Thank you.

As for player names, the only one I'm sure of so far is the name of the QB (the Thrower). It will be . . . Willard.

Other name suggestions are welcome (clean ones, please).

I would think a James Cagney, or parody of his name (the all time classic line: "you dirty rat!") would fit well. :smoking:

Thanks, Cagney is a good idea.

Right now, for a team name, my two top contenders are --

Ratston Spoilers
Plague Posse

But I'm certainly willing to entertain more ideas. (also suggestions for more player names).

Plague Posse's really good. I'm considering the "Pestilence Plague Monks" although Pestilence and Plague might be redundant. maybe " The Mice who Say Squeek!" :smoking:
