Is this something that people not attending the tourney would be interested in buying at e.g. ~£8 a coin plus postage (depending on production costs etc.). Itchen, Shtevo had expressed interest. Just getting a feel for this in case I do produce a larger batch to sell on any spares.

I would be interested in buying one, but I will likely be attenting this tourney anyway :) Just as soon as someone less lazy than myself puts in the application :D And I'll be careful not to use the P word again before such time!

What about adding a really shocked face for the ball carrier side as picking up the ball is the hardest thing in the game?!!

Sounds good Simon.

On the matter of tokens and sign ups generally...

September is well underway with less than three weeks to go before the early bird deadline.

As with last year I’m looking to develop cool goodies like the ball token (see above) and other prizes for the tournament but obviously I need guarantees (=as many registered teams as possible) before I can commit to that.
 
Hence the early bird scheme; to encourage early sign ups and gather the required funds to plan potentially very expensive projects.

So keep em coming!! – hopefully lots more teams will be in the books before October 1st :-)

I'd say I'll need to at least treble the number of registered teams if I'm going to get the ball counter manufactured...
