My dusty paintbrushes may even spring into action for this… Stranger things have happened!
Are there any ground rules for the Best Painted contest:
-Can you enter with a team someone else is using (but you painted)?
-Presume you can’t enter a team which has previously won Best Painted at GB?

Thanks guys!

I filled it full of lead too, so although it's quite small, it weighs over a kilogram!

There are no official rules, never seen the need.pipey wrote:My dusty paintbrushes may even spring into action for this… Stranger things have happened!

However, I would make some suggestions to those thinking of entering:
- If you painted a team but someone else is using it then you are free to enter it to the Best Painted voting.
- I'd only allow one entry per person though, so if you do this you can't enter a second team you may be using.
- Previous winners of the award are welcome to enter again. In fact, we've never had a repeat winner for two years running...
- Although there isn't a rule against it, I'd hope that previous winning entries would be 'retired' and not entered again.
Hope that makes sense?

That makes total sense. Well done!
I'll be bringing Transanal Evisceration again this year but not entering the painting comp, obs! Will hopefully enter again in 2016 (if I'm still alive) but only if I have a new team.
Fancy painting this Ogre/Snotling team! But that might be suicide tournamentwise :/

Ogres are never suicide!!! Does anyone fancy playing with my chaos dwarf team I just painted? I am not skilled enough to make them work but want at least an outside chance of winning this amazing best painted trophy.
Very well done G

Train tickets and hotel booked. Bring it on!!
I am on the 07:30 train from Edinburgh on Saturday morning and 18:52 return from Newcastle on the Sunday.
If anybody is looking to share a room on Saturday night, I have a room booked in the Premier Inn Quayside hotel.

Good luck to all the Best Painted contestants. Matching this year's trophy in 2016 will take some doing!
