Bunker Bowl V - 12th + 13th March 2016 - Colchester, Essex

Bunker Bowl V is now NAF approved so I can give the full details of this tournament.

The venue is the 4tK Gaming Store in Colchester, Essex (same place as last year) on the 12th and 13th March.

You will get six games for the price of £15 for NAF members / £20 for non-NAF members (but that will cover NAF membership). Food is not included in the price but there are shops nearby and I'll supply doughnuts for the mornings and 4TK have free tea/coffee all day and they do sell some hot food and snacks.

Any of the 24 NAF ranked teams may be used. This time I have brought in a tiered system for teams to buy your team with :

Tier One – 1,100,000
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf

Tier Two – 1,150,000
Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Necromantic, Nurgle, Slann

Tier Three – 1,200,000
Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld, Vampire

We are sticking with the skills package and points from last time as they seemed to work well though. They are :

Before Game 2 you may give a normal skill to a single chosen rostered player.
Before Game 3 you may either give a doubles skill to a single chosen rostered player or a normal skill to two random rostered players (reroll again if a star player is selected in this way).
Before Game 4 you may give a normal skill to three chosen rostered players.

7 points for a win
3 points for a draw
0 points for a loss
1 point per casualty caused (max 3 points)
1 point per touchdown scored (max 3 points)

Blocking, fouling and crowd push casualties will count towards your casualty score. Failed dodges, GFI’s or kick-off result injuries will not count.

There will be trophies for :
Champion; Runner Up; Most Touchdowns; Most Casualties; Best Painted Team; Stunty Cup; Wooden Spoon

I'll also do my best to get some decent prize support like we did last year with lots of KR cases, Mantic games box sets and minis and dice from Cymbeline Games.

I think it is yes - I was trying to avoid clashes with Mother's Day (6th March), Easter and Dungeon Bowl and totally missed ARBBL.

No worries. I think he'd aimed for the 5th/6th anyway, just the 2nd date was the fall back option.
Hadn't realised the 6th was Mother's Day though - whoops! I can see a lot of Mothers/Wives being taken out for a meal the weekend before/weekend after in the ARBBL club.

I've finalised the rules and I've submitted the tourney for NAF approval. If it gets the okay, I'll edit the first post with the confirmed rules.
