Necromantic vs Undead

Post by Minigiant »

What is considered to be the more competitive of the two main undead teams?

Necromantic or Undead?

I just find them more fun/versatile due to the werewolves.

Undead are a strongly mini-maxed right out of the box and, due to MiB, the only solid competitor to the fairy teams.... However, if you can get block/blodge + MiB werewolves, Necros can be fun....

I always found Undead one of the most redonk teams out of the box. Two big guys with NO negatraits, four quick ball carriers with instant blodge access, and a whole bunch of capable road blocks in between. Regeneration and enough gp left over to bathe yourself in re rolls. They're quicker than Dwarfs and bashier than Wood Elves. Undead and Wood Elves I would say just off the top of my head are the two races I've seen win tournaments generally more often than any others.

Necro's are more fun and with higher t.v. / higher number of skill choices narrow the gap in competitiveness.

Yes. They are the two best races in win% according to NAF.

No need to bring snafu into the conversation....
It "sanctions" such a wide variety of tournaments that no rigorous statistical standard may be reached.... Let alone any other reservations....

No need to bring your personal obsessions into the conversation either, but that never seems to stop you, does it?
