In metal you will lose to much detail, which would be a shame because those prints are awesome.
In resin I'd buy it, ncertainly.
Tin pewter, maybe.
Lead pewter, no chance.

Re: Star Player Miniatures
So how do they compare in size to more recent figs being produced? They seem much bigger than the old GW stuff, but I was wondering how they match up with the newer generation of mini's being produced (sorry, not sure the scale size)

Nice, but I think that you've overdone the abdominals.
A tad too much, IMHO

You dont have to shade them, they will be visible but not as much.Pedda wrote:Nice, but I think that you've overdone the abdominals.

Re: Star Player Miniatures
Since it's just 3D models at this stage, I thought I'd give them my feedback. If I'm not the only one, they might consider changing the miniatures, which is still possible. Nothing has been cast, as far as we knowtheghr wrote:You dont have to shade them, they will be visible but not as much.Pedda wrote:Nice, but I think that you've overdone the abdominals.

Re: Star Player Miniatures
The renders need to be like that in some areas to ensure that the detail is correct in the metal production minis. Details are always blunt and suffer shrinkage.
Don't worry about it, just remember that a render isn't the finished product and when done correctly will be designed to counter some of the detail loss that the casting process entails.

Re: Star Player Miniatures
Something with that last pose doesn't seem totally correct to me ...
Havn't put the finger on it yet.
Maybe the torso seems too "stiff", Looking down to punch doesn't help.
Otherwise the renders look fab in general.
