Hello one & all!!!

The North West Warriors are proud to present WARRIOR BOWL!

We have mumbled about doing a BB tournament for some time & have finally plucked up the courage to do one! We know it's short notice, but if your free and fancy a great day of giggles & Blood Bowl then come along!!!

Entry fee is £10 & for this you will have 3 games to decide who will raise the first WARRIOR BOWL trophy!!

All you need to bring is your fully painted team, board , templates and a winning smile!


RULES

WARRIOR BOWL will be using the Competition Rules Pack which can be found on The NAF website here : http://www.thenaf.net/blood-bowl/rules/

All 24 NAF approved teams including Chaos Pact, Slann and Underworld may be used and you may spend up to 1,000,000 gold crowns on them. Star players may be selected if you already have 11 rostered players. If, however, both you and an opponent are using the same star player, neither team may use them (as they have been overbooked and can’t play for both teams). Wizards and special play cards may not be used but all other inducements may be selected (Bribes, Halfling Master Chef, etc.)

SKILL PROGRESSION

Skills will be given as follows :
Before Game 2 you may give a normal skill to 2 chosen rostered player.
Before Game 3 you may either give a doubles skill to a single chosen rostered player or a normal skill to two random rostered players (reroll again if a star player is selected in this way).

You may wait to chose your skill until after you find who you are facing in the next games. Rostered players may only receive a single skill unless you elect to take random skills and the roll picks a player who has already received a skill. In this case, Nuffle has obviously deemed the player worthy of special blessings!
Stat increased may not be awarded.

INJURIES

WARRIOR BOWL is a resurrection style tournament so all injuries are forgotten after each match. Raise The Dead spells for Undead and Necromantic will only give you the free zombie for that game. Nurgle’s Rot for the Nurgle team will also only give you the free Rotter for that game.

SCORING SYSTEM

2 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss

Thanks guys, like we said above we realised it was but thought we would put it out there on the off chance. More a case of letting the world know we exist

But fear not we had so much fun that WARRIOR BOWL II will certainly happen! So hope you can make that one when we give the heads up!

With 0 touchdowns over the 3 games , Adams under performing Orcs gave him the wooden spoon!!

Let's be honest it's all about the casualties in blood bowl and just pipping them all to it was Mark Shepherd and his chaos dwarfs racking up 6 casualties over the 3 games!

Whilst everyone else was doing the kicking Gareth Beacock was doing the scoring!

So with 6 Touchdowns over the 3 games his elf team took out the M-V-P trophy!

But who was our Warrior Bowl champion I hear you cry?!

Well the championship changed through 3 different hands as the final turns ticked by. But clinching the title was...

I think we can safely say we all had a great time!!!!

Especially as all the talk was of new teams & when the next Warrior Bowl would be!!!
