Re: Galak Starscraper
I have one of these that I had painted up as a referee, too. Although I did cut and turn the right hand at the wrist so it would lay flat during transport. Also, glued a Chaos Cup coin in his left hand so it would look like he is about to flip it for the kickoff.

Did you post a photo of him somewhere? If so I've seen him and he was my inspiration to use the old marauder giant!

I have the same figure. Very tempted by a repaint now - I have a dwarf ref that I use as a Bribe when Get the ref is rolled, would be very entertaining to have a disparity in the two figures!

Re: Galak Starscraper
A friend gave me this mini many years ago and I never thought I would paint it since I didn't play Warhammer. Then Tom Anders used a giant miniature as his Avatar. This reminded me of the fluff so I reread the 1st edition rule book and decided I HAD to paint this guy up as a ref. Love ref models (have painted up 6 or so) almost as much as I do Treemen. I had posted him on TFF at one point and also on the Zlurpee forums. Here he is...ClintonG wrote:Did you post a photo of him somewhere? Yep, that first picture is the one that inspired me to use this model! It's a small blood bowl world!
Your model looks great too!
