Galak Starscraper
Hey there everyone, my league has decided to include Galak Starcraper and I couldn't abide not having a model, so I tracked down a giant and got in touch with my good friend Andrew at Rollin all ones. Here is the result. Hope you like it!

First BB Giant I really like. Would`ve prefered a regular zebra look instead of the "wild" one though, but it still looks very nice.

Re: Galak Starscraper
We discussed standard striping but I'm a fluff warrior and he wanted to flex his muscles for this year's Crystal brush so we ended up going with the natural zebra stripes. I wish I could paint so crisply!
Here is the fluff we referenced
Galak is Gurk Cloudscraper's BIG brother, an unusually intelligent giant (which isn't saying much, since he's still pretty dumb) who has loved Blood Bowl since he was knee-high to an Ogre. Sadly, as he grew up he found opponents became less and less keen to play against him, until he eventually had to retire. However, his love of the game just would not go away, and one day he came up with an inspired idea. Striding out into the desert, he trapped a herd of zebra in a canyon. After 3 days of skinning, sewing, and cursing, he returned to civilization in his new stripy suit as the world's first giant Nuffle Amorical Football (NAF) referee.
Galak's inability to control his temper when several players gang up on one player has led to numerous calls that he be barred from refereeing. Unfortunately, Galak finds it equally difficult to control his temper when so accused, leading to several very flat and very dead investigating committees.

Re: Galak Starscraper
it is quite awsome. the paint work is excellent, and the base is quite eye catching. supurb work!
having said that, "no weapons on the field of play". i would have gotten rid of the tree limb. kinda takes away from the "fantasy football" vibe.
just my opinion...

I couldn't bring myself to cut up the antique model so I kinda went with the who is gonna take his club from him!
We are using a slightly modifed version of the rules found here
http://www.midgardbb.com/Galak.html
He very much changes the tempo of any game he officiates. He showed up in a dwarf vs orc game and 2nd turn a slayer frenzied and got 3 assists. Galak stormed the field and sorted out the whole mess causing 2 casualties per side. It was hysterical and awful wrapped up in one package.
