Essex Bloodbowl League

After a failed attempt to get a league going last year (work threatened redundancy so I had to put projects on hold) I have gone one step further this time.

With the stellar help of Mike Davies (Sann) I have got the league registered on the NAF obblm site and started signing people up.

We will be looking to begin in February (opening match on 1st) at the Basildon Warboyz Club.

Any interest let me know and I can get you set up on the league site so you can create a team and get ready

League rules will be CRP/LRB6 (i.e. 24 teams) with only a couple of house rules
no Illegal Procedure calls for forgetting the turn marker
teams start with 1.1m
no special play cards

What is the time scale for the league?

I might be able to make it, but not every week. (Some week I have Tournaments )

The club hours are 5-10 on a Sunday, I figured every 2-3 weeks (probably every 3) to avoid just that kind of fixture clash

Of course it all depends on numbers and interest

2 league games every 2-3 weeks is fine for a relaxed league I think

This league is up and running. I went along for week one to give it a go.

Clean, warm venue with 'tuck' available.

Very friendly players. Highly recommended.

So, season 1 finished. We had 15 coaches at our peak,

Season 2 starts in September

We lost 4-5 coaches through either time commitments or mysterious disappearances. But the core finished strongly and we are looking to bump numbers up and already have 1–3 new coaches lining up.
