Team Exiles will be in Lucca.

And, like all the very the best bands, half the original line up (from Amsterdam) have been booted due to creative differences (they couldnt get the time off to come to Lucca in November). So we've recruited 3 replacement members and are ready to rock the bottom tables once again!

Time off not the problem. :(

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Sann (I assume) has posted on the World Cup Facebook event saying that there's 25 teams signed up in the first week with a break down by country. No info on team names or members tho'.

I think that was what prompted the question of will there be a list of teams somewhere.

Also wondering if there was a list of individuals looking for teams to play for or individuals interested in forming a random team?

WeegieBowl will be represented but won't have our own team unfortunately. Looking very international at the moment tho' as we'll have league members on Scottish, Australian and (possibly) Dutch teams. :D

Some 85 odd teams registered to the world cup! So far only 5 teams from the UK? Discuss..

One of the other countries bribed me not to turn up because I'm too good and they was scared that they wouldn't stand a chance of winning if I was there

I managed to get a Team ANZAC together (5 kiwis and 1 Aussie). Team ANZAC first played in the last World Cup in Amsterdam (5 Aussies and 1 kiwi that time), finishing 10th out of 80 teams. That will be a hard act to follow.

2 other teams from Oz, so Australasia has 3 teams, the same as North America.

Kudos to Denmark with 8 teams, only 1 less than England.

148 teams and 888 coaches now, we are really looking forward to it. And those 10:00 a.m. starts - bliss.

All the best.
