When leaping forward to pounce on an opponent's mistake I would often find the trajectory of my knuckles from dragging on the floor to launching my wicked elves into the soft underbelly of my unsuspecting foe was through said overhang causing a near cataclysmic earthquake sending figures spiralling into the distance and a look of superior disdain on the poor Blood Bowler sat opposite me. Other than that the overhang was "fine".

Some of the less generous among us might suggest that rather than the poor inanimate board and table being at fault here something else was, any suggestions Graham?

Personally, I also managed to play 6 games relatively untroubled by the overhang (minimal from GW standard board) that's not to say I wouldn't mind if larger tabels could be begged, borrowed or stolen to give no overhang next year.

I was even one of the curmudgeon's who desipite playing on FUMBBL expressed the opinion that i would rather play 'end to end' than side on.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

I used to play board side ways, and I play on FUMBBL so the one game I played sideways on, was not surprisingly the one where I played the best.

So...smaller tables next year please. ;)

The overhang wasn't an issue here.

I did play one game horizontally but despite being a FUMBBL player, I can see why people were reluctant to play like that. Was quite disorienting at times. Each to their own, though.

So Garrick, you have 12 months to work on your overhang... Long enough? ; - )
