Are the beastmen heralds? I keep meaning to find out what they are. Should check Cyanide, probably.

Re: Reconsidering the ruling on Khorne?
Thanks Gaixo.
Sann - Heralds are uber-bloodletters. But I can't stomach that they don't have Regen while Bloodletters and Bloodthirsters do.
The statline looks a lot more like a beastmen to me, so I call them Khorngor. Like the Pestigor on the Nurgle team.
Cheers
Martin

I've always thought the Khorn team was somewhat incomplete. I wouldn't like it to be sanctioned by the NAF until they had access 6 stars like all the other races. S.

Well, if that's the only limitation, it's an easy fix.

Re: Reconsidering the ruling on Khorne?
Hi all,
while we wait for Word from the NAF:
Sann said (regarding a list of 6 stars):
For example, it might be considered to be a hot button issue whether the team should have really useful stars (to compensate for their suckyness), average stars, or weak stars (to keep the team Down). And then there is the question of fluffyness.
In the NTBBL we use this list:
Star Players: Helmut (110K), Max (130K), Wilhelm (240K), Borak (300K), Grashnak (310K), Morg (420K)
Not a list them gives them something super useful like AG4. But certainly with some high-ST stars. And with the novelty of 2 chainsaw stars.
Cheers

Re: Reconsidering the ruling on Khorne?
Our league (LIBBL) had been allowing Khorne in scrimmages and has now approved them for league use. Now I have to decide whether I want the pain. I'm playing them in one online league (BBBBL) and in my second season the frustration is palpable. I do love my frenzy, but this team is much squishier than I ever anticipated.

Won't be allowed in ARBBL tournaments.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Re: Reconsidering the ruling on Khorne?
Just to add my two cents; I play a khorne team in an online league and find them interesting, fun yet very tricky to play. The likeness to norse because of the frenzy is an illusion, just as norse is very different from dwarves even though both have the block schtick. While I do agree that the fluff surrounding the team doesn't quite fit they add their own uniqueness to the game and I would very much like them to be sanctioned by the NAF.

Absolutely love the team.
My favourite team to play period.
It presents challenges unlike any other.
Gamewise they are better made then several of the crp teams.
I would absolutely love them to be naf sanctioned.

I allow them in our league, they are certainly challenging to play against and certainly not overpowered.Rolex wrote: Absolutely love the team.

@Darkson: what if the NAF sanctions them?? if you disallow them from your tournament will you still get NAF approval? I believe Pug was told a couple of years ago Rockettbowl would not be sanctioned as he didn't allow certain teams (Ag4 to be precise)

Re: Reconsidering the ruling on Khorne?
They wont get sanctioned. Even if they were the fluffiest, completely balanced, most fun and perfect race that ever existed they wouldnt get sanctioned.
Because Cyanide made them (or at the very least released them).

Glowworm is correct. If Khorne are voted in, it would make them mandatory for NAF events.
