Hakflem Shuttlespike or more skaven?

so I am thinking of taking this bad boy in a skaven team. Already have a rat ogre, 2 blitzers, 2 gutter runners and a thrower (maybe 2) so basically he would occupy space that would be taken by more gutter runners or linerats.

Thoughts?

From my (all be it limited) experiance it's the Gutters win the games, only having two limits your options. I would have to say more Gutters.

Yes I want more info. If it's 100tv I'd suggest 4 GRs, If the TV gets higher then add in the Star, maybe dropping the RO to do it. Depends in the TV and skills allowed.

Skuttlespike is one of those. I took him in a 120 TV tourney which lunchmoney is alluding to would be alright. I actually took him in a 6 gutter runner roster (with stab stab as well) and ended up with most casualties. Work that one out. But he was killed three times. Thought that's my failure to defend my star player more than anything!

Stab stab on the other hand took out Ghouls and Wardancers like a champ.

I voted for more of the other stuff because as Loki suggests... it's all about the gutters so max out with 4 and if you're playing a high enough TV to take skuttlespike AS WELL then by all means. If you're one of those that likes to play without a rat ogre it's another question.

Ive taken this guy to quite a few tournies in the last 12-18 months and found him awesome. I dont like the RO and even though i painted 1 ive never used it. If your playing a TV100 go with the 4 Gutters, if you play higher go with him AND 4 gutters. Your opponents face when you place 5 gutters on the pitch and say 'this 1 is S3 and gets +2 dodge & +1 pick up on the ball...' is priceless! Skill up your gutters with block, and if you can do double skills a guard, and just run them up the sideline. Dodging into and out of 2 tackle zones on 2+ with RR... it will make anyone think twice about feeling safe.

The tourney is 1.1m so if I took Hakflem it would be instead of more Gutter Runners. This is an either or situation. The question really is does 1 Hakflem = 2 Gutter Runners?

that is a possibility which would allow 4 GR and Hakflem as well. But it means my LOS is basically 3 line rats

Doh!

Whats wrong with:

2 Blitzers
4 Gutters
Thrower
4 Line
Spikie
2 RR
And change

Give the thrower leader and you have 3 RR.

Or drop the Thrower and have 5 Linerats and let the Gutters do the ball handling.

I use this list with the Thrower and Leader combo. Works great.
