Indeed. As I've gone through my time as captain, I've often heard 'I'll do that EurOpen thing, one year'.

From an English point of view, there is never going to be a closer, more cost effective option (internal UK accepted) to try international Blood Bowl. Not bad beer either!

Hi all,

Time marches on, doesn’t it?! We have only 3 weeks remaining for you to register interest for Team England, and only six or so months until Belgium 2014 is upon us. Scary / exciting stuff!

I urge anyone interested in representing their scene to get in touch and post on teamengland.freeforums.org by the end of April, and that if you’re interested in the EurOpen, that you begin to firm up those plans. The stream of coaches / teams registering their interest officially is steadily picking up, and I’d hate for anyone to miss out on the biggest BB event of the year because they put it off a little too long. You can register as a single to be placed or as a team, but make sure you register at all!

I am due to announce the team on May 10, so I’ll be in touch shortly thereafter to big up your representatives and encourage you to join us on the short hop over the channel for the party.

Cheers!

...And reserve, Podfrey.

Whilst we're talking Eurobowl / Eur Open, travel, shirt and roster chat is well under way at teamengland.freeforums.org. Please come on by and have a look, get involved and contribute to the group think! Even if you can't make it this year; who knows, you could set off a discussion on that skill or that mode of transport that really helps us out!

We have three Eur Open teams already booked for the event, meaning we're up at 17 travelling Englishmen already! There is bound to be someone going from near to you, so you can always share lifts or get advice as to the best route to Ostend. I believe this already represents England's largest ever touring party, will you and your team take us over 20?

Get thee to teamengland.freeforums.org! :)

All!

Exciting times, as we tick along to 5 months to go until the biggest event of the year. The Belgians have announced some exciting new registration options, and the confirmed English touring party has increased to a record busting 20 coaches.

The build-up continues to crank up at teamengland.freeforums.org, and our north eastern friends are spending a little bit of time with the trophy.

Not long to grease your organisation wheels now. The biggest and best Blood Bowl party of 2014 is coming, and you should be a part of it. Book now! :)

Under 100 days to go until the big one. If you're still considering joining England's biggest ever touring party and sampling the best tournament going all year, join us on teamengland.freeforums, org for all of the important information.

You've been hit by, you've been stuck by, Paul Gegg.
There are over a dozen Scots going but I am not sure we are politically entitled to join "England's biggest ever touring party" now if it was "Britain's biggest ever touring party" then that would an entirely different thing but as we are not English then by definition we are not invited to join the team England forum. And yet surely every English Blood Bowl player (who is not wading in cash) wants Wales or Scotland to host the next Eurobowl so that travel is simple and cheap not to mention the Great in Britain and it's constituent parts. Oh hang on a second by then there may not be a United Kingdom ... sound of author spiralling into the navel he is gazing at!

:)

Everyone is more than welcome to join our forum, we're always glad to have our Celtic / European friends come chat. By extension, I agree that it will be Britain's largest ever touring party, party being the operative word!

We wish Wales and a Scotland all of the success in the world. Unless, that is, you play us! ;)

All,

We're now near enough two months away from the off. This week we have had a team reshuffle due to unforeseen circumstances; Stanley (winkle_Picka) has made the good real life decision to stay at home, and Geoff (Podfrey) has come into the side from the reserve position. Wilzif will be the next call up should we hit any more problems.

With this reshuffle, a spot has opened up on the Eur Open Waterbowl team. If you've been eyeing up the brilliant trip to Belgium but couldn't decide to bite the bullet, here is a golden opportunity to play with some fine gentlemen in the greatest of all English league jerseys (or so those from Manchester say...). Contact Alex / Leipziger ASAP for how to join!

We're now taking England shirt orders for travelers over at teamengland.freeforums.org. If you're coming, get the 2014 England jersey! You can also follow all of the action via @TeamEnglandBB on Twitter when November rolls around.

Thanks!

Phil.

We're finally almost there. This time next week, we'll be reflecting on the first day of play over a couple of quiet ales.

With a record 21 English coaches travelling to Ostend in one form or other to play in a bumper 264 coach event, it's going to be colossal.

Just as in 2013, you can follow all of the action as I turn @TeamEnglandBB over to the team for all of the up to date results, photos and assorted nonsense. It's the best place to follow the tournament from an English viewpoint as it happens, and then join us on teamengland.freeforums.org Monday week for all of the fallout.

See you on the other side!
